  1. Awesome...plain...friggin...awesome.
  2. and dayum does it look awesome...just seperate rd-xyz from fuel tank...
  3. errr, no soyuz launchers were used for vostoK missions, but R7 derivatives named Vostok-K (cause the Soyuz, even whilst being most flown rocket of the R7 series, still is only a derivative of the R7) and what can you place instead of Blok I, if there is no Blok E?!
  4. Wait, seperate engines? YESSSSSSS!
  5. How about Zarya spacecraft? Or Molniya upper stage? Or historical spacecraft? (Sputnik,Luna,Venera and Mars probes, Elektron,Foton,Proton,Polyot and Molniya satellites...)
  6. Cerverus, didnt get your post As to psycho, those differences are so tiny (between laterals and sustainer of vostok k and soyuz) they aren't really worth the effort of modelling a whole new R7. A slight .cfg edit should do (and even then it's pointless, if you're complaining about the difference between vostok-k and soyuz, why dont you in the difference of thrust of soyuz core and laterals? laterals acctually had more thrust. and that's ONE of the many differences of KSP and RL) And trust me, MrTheBull *does* know that Vostok-K had its own 3rd stage, derived from the Luna rocket, together with it's own fairing and differing set of textures, he is going to do all that and he is going to add more details to the vostok itself, add a "jettison" of Vostok's instruments module which creates the adapter which differs Luna from Vostok and much more stuff PS: I know that cause I'm, as long as I'm online, chatting with him on skype, gather data for him etc.
  7. Do all in my might to stop development of currently not needed booster systems (hint, hint, SLS), same for sending humans into orbit and beyond, and try to get as much money possible chanelled into the important stuff, space probes, landers, and rovers. (if it would be possible, maybe some light lifter, say 5-7 tons, which NASA would sell off and gain their own money for their own projects, I suppose it isnt, but still)
  8. dont be so hard on the warp, you have to warp out slowly, and not just press "," xyz times till it slows you x1.
  9. That's true. I still didn't test the N1 here, but Korolev had in mind to use Blok B and V (stage II and stage III) as another, seperate launch vechicle. Try your luck with that 1st.
  10. I'm just saying it's a bit overblown. 4 flights aren't any statistical reference, and there are quiet some US rockets which failed in the early days frequently. (btw, History Channel? )
  11. I have sent you a PM before seeing this. I have tried to convince you otherwise. Or atleast let us have it here as a stand-in. But, you should know that we respect your decision (which doesn't mean we will give up in convincing you, ofcourse ) Also, sure, we might do better, the question is, however, WHEN, time is quiet pressing when school starts in...1 day to moardeltav, use MechJeb and it should go with a 100x100 EDIT:deleted add-on, removed link
  12. I'll adress it one by one: colliders are from the original, we didnt dare to fiddle around to much with it (and what would you add on it? and how would it interfere with your flight?) I'm gonna be cruel and rude about the Gemini...dont place american **** on soviet rockets! (jk) but seriously, for now, its FG configuration (the one you used except the rd-0124) can lift around 10 tons, nomrbond is working on balancing it. I have tried but kinda failed working on the effects of the RD-107(A), and I deem the effects of RD-108(A) and 0110-0124 O.K. Thx for the feedback, and nice nickname. Added some rep.
  13. heh...no, I dont agree It was big, so the explosions were big, yes, but the R-7 rocket, the 1st ICBM, had 2 failures and just then worked out properly...and thats with 5 engines, the N1 had 4 failures (out of 4 flights, yes, but you cant call 4 flights statistical data), but with 30 and something engines
  14. I agree...but dont expect it too soon...school starts in 2 days, and we want to keep the textures from the author, just change the textures' color from orange to green for vostok...and we would like to keep the 3rd stage in-line then with the rest of the launcher
  15. I rather answered your 1st question, the 2nd one, I sent a PM asking him for permission, and, as far as I understand, I'm in no trouble unless HE says that he doesnt want me to use his stuff. Untill that happens, everything is fine. EDIT:yeah, I see, after reading your 1st post here again, I mightve been a bit harsh...yet I did got pretty angry, as, I believe, I have more than clearly stated that all the models and textures where done by deusoverkill. And I still didnt get an answer for my PM i sent 4 months ago. I will send another one today...In case he answers negatively, we will respect that and remove our mod of a mod.
  16. Tiberion, I would suggest you the read a)any part .cfg of this mod the description on spaceport c) the 1st line of the OP d) to google RockCo... I think you should then atleast be able to grasp that this, indeed, is a revival of that mod. EDIT:and yes, I am frustrated an ex-mod isn't even reading before he posts
  17. To answer your question I have sent MrTheBull your link
  18. The Soyuz models are ready...it's still not really balanced n stuff, but it should work out...will upload it on spaceport. EDIT:download link is in OP
  19. Well, I daresay these textures are better, no offense to BobCat ofcourse. I also daresay that we wouldn't get our topics swarmed by pretty idiotic posts like "yu no ask bobcat for permission" (too lazy to make a meme) etc.
  20. And that we will do, atleast if MrTheBull wants so. It's a lot easier then creating his very own rocket, and IIRC BobCat's Soyuz had .mbm textures, which you cant change, so it wouldn't have the Vostok flair. If we do it like this, we need to change textures on 4 parts altogether, and create 2 new ones for the Vostok Blok I (or is that R7 Blok E? I'm not sure), anyway the 3rd stage, plus the spacecraft itself.
  21. Comrades, it is my pleasure and honour to say that, with the help of comrade MrTheBull WE HAVE SUCCESFULLY CREATED THE 1ST .MU FILE OF THIS MOD! This is, comrades, a small step forward, but it is nontheless significant enough! I am also proud to announce that NoMrBond has agreed to help us balance it out! But, thats not all, comrades! We have more! Comrade MrTheBull has started work on the Vostok spacecraft!!! (!!!(!!!(!!!)))
  22. I sent you another PM, this time with all the files, in their historical configuration.
  23. Lawl... Still dont have an answer for those .dae files
