  1. He\'s waiting until 0.15 to test it in the games new SPH instead of releasing it now and realizing the 0.15 flight mechanics breaks the CSS\' flight dynamics.
  2. Yes, the landing engines have a solid fuel icon, but are 'single-use liquid landing engines.'
  3. This thing looks beautiful, can\'t wait to see what you do with it in the future. It\'s incredibly difficult to land at the KSC though. It likes to slowly pitch up and down.
  4. No need to upload it, the original BACE thread is still around: Here you go.
  5. Noooo! I like those parts and all, but they are huge and clunky, and impossible to use on probes. Please don\'t abandon yours, even if you just release your models to work with r4m0n\'s plugin, it would fit into my craft far better than damnyoujapan\'s models. Even a smaller 'Rotatron' would be incredible.
  6. Pretty much. You can fake the lighting details of a complex model on a simple model surface. Though I\'m not sure if it\'s confirmed for 0.15, C7 is working on normal mapping for his models, but I didn\'t think he was expecting it to be used immediately
  7. I gotta say I\'m a little antsy too, but I figure he\'s probably actually enjoying other games right now and is waiting until docking is here before releasing anything big.
  8. Thanks! I saw people using the floodlights for Mun bases, and realized it\'d help a lot with orbital rendezvous on the dark side of Kerbin.
  9. So Damned Robotics came out recently, and the amount of things it lets you do are amazing. I know many people have made ISS clones, but I believe this is the first with a realistic solar array. Pre-Deployment: I\'m not showing my launch vehicle, because I had to cheat to get this thing in orbit without shaking apart... Everything Deployed and Ready to Rotate: And Then, it Moves! Now is the hard part. For those of you interested in looking at this and attempting to launch it yourself, you\'ll need: Damned Robotics Floodlights (Which requires Carts) MultiJointParts And Nova\'s BACE, Probodobodyne, and SE 1.2 Click here to grab the .craft file!
  10. Hah! Can finally do realistic solar arrays!
  11. So, I\'ve been trying to open MapGen.exe through the command prompt, and nothing happens. Like, it hesitates for a second, and then waits for my next input. The last build gave me the no .csv error, but this one isn\'t even doing that.
  12. Nova told us 'soon.' On his time scale, it means 'soon.' Give it a week.
  13. Love the new parts, finally got up a very Salyut-esque station, working on a mun base now. Can\'t wait for the hinge joints to come along, it\'ll help with hiding things under fairings.
  14. Would you change the mass value in the config to 0.001? Having no mass value does odd things if you launch with this attached to small rockets. It took me a little bit to figure out the model from this pack was doing it, and when I threw a 1 on the end of your 0.00 value my ship flew fine. Thank you!
  15. Er, I think he should keep the images visible so they catch the eye of people skimming through to see new developments. Looks very clean, Nova.
  16. FYI: The photos below can potentially spoil the location of the second KSC, please don\'t click the link if you wish to discover it on your own... I launched it, it worked despite the fuel line not surviving the save updates. Now I can just play this game again and not worry about approaching slopes... To those interested in a save file, I\'m sorry, but there\'s not much point now that the fuel line isn\'t there, you can get into orbit if you\'re lucky, it looks like it\'ll mostly do ballistic sub-orbital trajectories though. Besides, where\'s the fun in just giving it out for free.
  17. Mwahahahaha! Minimal cheating, mosting just suspension on the truck. Only one slope in the whole basin... I\'ll launch it tomorrow and include better pics with a fly by confirmation pic.
  18. I\'ll try again tomorrow. I\'m frazzled out right now, and have even begun cheating by editing config files just to get down there. And thanks for the picture complements, it was actually a happy mistake it turn out so well.
  19. So it looks like this is as close as I\'ll be getting for now: I can\'t find a slope into that basin that shallow enough for me to not cartwheel down. So close...
  20. This is very cool, I will be downloading this as soon as I\'m off work.
  21. I agree. I would ignore my desires for .5m parts if I could radially mount probodobodyne fuel stacks.
