Shadow Flickering Problem
KerbMav replied to SpaceBooper's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
A couple years back we had a pinned thread with community fixes like these - wonder what became of it ... What do this settings do specifically? -
Ahoi!

There was a mention of all Kerbals in ... 9 meters? Radius? Grinding that gold to get the pass for this season before the end of march ... Since you followed the instructions and met the spirit of the r requirements, use alt-F12 to get an out of court settlement of the contract...?

How to use the ground experiments?
KerbMav replied to magnemoe's topic in Breaking Ground Discussion
If you meant how to increase science/energy output: place them with a Kerbal of the corresponding specialization (scientist/engineer) that has already ranked up. -
I like "what you see is what you get" in this case. To use open attachement nodes that are not visible in the actual sandbox and only in our tool shed still seems weird to me. If I see a flat surface I expect it to be more draggy than any form of roundness or pointiness, and that is what the aerodynamic system should work off. Any difficulty increasing things like mach effects etc. - optional to me, as it might introduce too much things to consider, at least on lower difficulty settings.

I need help: I am remembering a spy movie that had a gadget the size of a cigarette box to duplicate small things - you put in a key or a microchip, closed and opened it, and suddenly it was in there twice ... ?

Should the ksp 2 devs change the Kerbol system?
KerbMav replied to catloaf's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
Original system. With RSS as one of the other explorable ones - modders can make that one the homesystem then. -

@tg626 Did you somehow activate the option in difficulty to obey fuel flow while transfering fuel? Or switched a part to not allow fuel flow?- 202 replies

Will KSP2 use 2.x.x or 1.x.x in version names?
KerbMav replied to LittleBitMore's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
I’d be completely ok with 1.2.5 -
Comet Neowise 2020! [August Hubble photo update]
KerbMav replied to a topic in Science & Spaceflight
Still waiting for my opportunity to see it before it leaves us again ... But Jupiter is quite visible these days as well, together with Saturn to the left. -
This isn’t a bug of the game but an incompatibility of a mod. Kopernicus is both the most game changing and revitalizing KSP mod as well as my biggest show stopper for its long update cycles - but worth it. Just wished Squad would release a way to use a real size Kerbol system without mods. *nudgenudge*winkwink*

Kerbal Space Program 1.10: "Shared Horizons” Grand Discussion Thread
KerbMav replied to UomoCapra's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I know I am being greedy and stuff here - but my first wish for 10.1 ... * Asteroids break apart into smaller fragments while entering atmosphere * Asteroids and Comets break apart when hit with enough force, i.e. speed and mass- 202 replies

How do people know so well what will spark my curiosity...

I really tried to push reading the new chapters further and further into the future to prolong the time I would have to read more. But then I read the last 3-4 chapters in a single day and only just finished the epilogue in bed now. I won't come up with 450.000 words so I won't even try and make it short: Well done. Very well.

But ... But what happens when they have eaten all the other rats ... ?
