  1. If I had to guess I'd say it was a conflict between DMagic Orbital Science and [X] Science. The easiest way to test this is to remove [X] Science and see if the errors go away. if so, ask on that mod's thread for help. I've never used DMagic Orbital Science but I believe it has parts, so removing it is probably not a valid option. The reason I think this is because of the line: ScienceChecklist.ExperimentFilter.IsAmountLimitedByDMagic (ScienceChecklist.ScienceInstance x, System.Collections.Generic.IList`1[T] DMModuleScienceAnimateGenerics) (at <e37e30492055407cb07984669fc8a878>:0) ScienceChecklist sounds like maybe something from [X] Science (unless you have a mod named "Science Checklist" installed I suppose) and it seems to have code that is DMagic aware (because of IsAmountLimitedByDMagic). And it appears that DMagic has some custom animation code (DMModuleScienceAnimateGenerics). I've seen errors before when one mod changes something that the stock game does, and another mod assumes things are happening the stock way. Also, I have some vague memories when I was writing All Y'All years ago, having some hard to fix issues with modded science in my "perform all science" button. But still, it's just a guess.
  2. I never understood the problem with this in the stock game. I mean, that's exactly how NASA did it. I still remember to this day when Buzz replied to Neil's first words on the Moon with, "Yeah, well this is your first time off the ship. I've hopped in and out 30 times on the way here to store those crew reports." More seriously thanks. If I didn't fully automate science already anyway this would be a must-install.
  3. Why can't you screenshot right before you take off, and again when you land, and subtract the MET on each from each other?
  4. I do not recal there ever being a problem with orbits while in time warp. The problems I experienced and to this day experience very rarely (though I suspect mods now) were always when the ship was not in time warp. Note that the PC KSP developers do not work on the Xbox. They help but as far as I know fixing this kind of bug - if it is only on Xbox and not on PC - is up to the Xbox KSP developers. Who have no forum presence to my knowledge.
  5. Rather than just "This" to @pmborg I'll add a link to the bug that causes this to happen. Filed by a very handsome Kerballer. Bug 13518 I submitted it 3 years ago, and it was confirmed 1 year ago (amusingly, both are in the week of their anniversary right now). But it's not seen any real action.
  6. I voted "Multiplayer" because I have no plans to play that way so if they said "Hey Multiplayer was too hard and we're releasing now because it'll probably take another year to sort it all out" I'd be happier than sad. But really I don't want the game to lack any feature when it releases.
  7. I'd make 2 files, settings.small and settings.large (or whatever you want to name them). Then write 2 batch files: d: cd \path\to\ksp\ del settings.old ren settings.cfg settings.old copy settings.large settings.cfg start /wait ksp.exe -whateverswitchesyounormallyuseifany I'm not 100% sure the start /wait is necessary but I used it in my own batch file because it's part of a larger setup I have to launch games using batch files. In case it's not obvious, this is large.bat and you'd need to edit the first, second, and final lines for your own purposes. Small.bat would look the same except line 6. Then put both of those batch files somewhere (you can even just put them in your KSP folder) and open that folder in Windows Explorer. Right-click-drag them one by one to the deskop and instead of copying them, use "create a shortcut". Now, you can run the appropriate shortcut to launch KSP in your preferred mode. And as to the renaming to settings.old, that's just so you always have a backup of whatever the last settings file was, in case you made some keybinding changes and forgot to copy them to your settings.large or settings.small file before restarting the game. Not that I've ever done that or anything
  8. Short answer is no. Longer answer would be to ask any specific questions here and you'll get help pretty quick from one of us
  9. @IncongruousGoat sorry for not putting you in the participants list earlier. I think with the tech tree thing I just forgot. I've fixed that now. Can't wait to see a low-tech Duna mission
  10. Interesting. I never knew that. I almost want to submit it as a bug. Good job on Drespollo, I'm surprised you didn't got for a Dresteroid after hitting an asteroid on both the Mun and Minmus trips.
  11. Have you checked if vsync is enabled? I'd try whatever it isn't now. Most graphic cards handle vsync outside of the game, so I've seen problems where vsync in the game is conflicting with vsync on the card, and causing tearing.
  12. I don't really see the problem here. If you're a minor then knowing where you are at all times is actually good parenting. If you're an adult then buy your own phone.
  13. Are you in the same SOI as the maneuver node? They tend to get confused otherwise.
  14. For all intents and purposes t-15 is good enough. Technically your TWR will change and if it does so significantly you "should" adjust your start time, but I've never bothered to learn the particulars and never had any problems.
  15. Hype is refined information. The KSP2 Hype train ran out of fuel months ago.
  16. @noname_hero those look good for proof but in addition to having no internet from tomorrow on, I'm on mobile only from now on and the wysiwyg editor is... well it totally sucks on mobile. So, I'll boot be updating the first post until probably the Monday after my vacation. Is your game unmodded? It appears so. Normal mode, hard, custom?
  17. Yet they're so proud of their famous poison that they can't imagine maybe using something a bit more common.
  18. By no means am I trying to convince you to. But just so you know what you're missing... They stop an assassin who was using poison, and can't identify where the poison came from. So, they take it to a 50's diner and the owner instantly knows the name of the planet it came from and that the beings on that planet are cloners.
  19. If the indicators are moving with SAS off in space I can only think some autopilot is trying to do something it thinks it's supposed to do.
  20. I'm my opinion of course. Like the Ewoks, if you remove Jar Jar and some other BS from the movie there's a coherent plot and things make sense and it's a decent setup to the first trilogy. The second one... just exists as a movie.
  21. 3 was better than 7 and 8. I'm still ruminating on 9. 2 is probably the worst of the bunch.
  22. This seems totally reasonable to me, as it does show that your craft (and you) are capable of what you said they did. And if a screenshot will take way too much time and effort to get mention it here, I may be overwhelmed by the Christmas spirit That's actually one of the reasons I did the first Kerpollo program way back before 1.0 was even a thing, so I can totally understand that NOTE TO EVERYBODY I'm on vacation from early Saturday morning through to late the following Saturday night, and will have little to no Internet the entire time. Those few precious moments of Internet access I happen to get, I'll likely not use here So anything that happens on this thread (or anywhere else but this is my most active thread) will have to wait until about January 5th or even later.
  23. That's basically impossible to answer but if you've seen the other 8 movies and still want to watch this even after the last one, then I say yes.
