No. imgur will not auto convert your upload file unless you manually select it to convert to JPG. And most of the imgur album here are PNGs. If just in-case anyone wandering what I'm concerning here. I mind that, the PNG file size too large compare with JPG. And please respect the less fortunate of 70% in the world that do not have broadband internet speed. -

Here you go, video proof on how to stand on ladder. (Hits: if you go slow enough, you can stand on the ladder as long as you like.) http://www./download/3q4w89pcudurusk/Cut2.avi Note: Above are 24 seconds of video recording, with only 1.6MB of file size and acceptable quality of video. PNGs are not significantly larger than JPG. Yeah, right to some extend. Try multiplying both to daily internet 'users'. Each time the particular PNGs and JPGs views. I will skipped the rest of my point. Below are my example of calculation. Let say the difference between JPG and PNG are about 10k. (Extreme low, normally about 100k). Daily internet user = 2,802,478,934 people (http://www.internetworldstats.com/stats.htm) and 10kbytes per picture. = 20,802,487,934kbytes of difference. 19 Gigabytes per picture per day. How many PNG does this forum have? How many times each picture view per day? For those who don't care about the download and upload bandwidth, because they are the world 30% 'much richer' people, please consider the other 70% less fortunate people that do not have broadband internet like you. This is a [Suggestion Section] of the forum. You don't have the privileges to act on behalf the developer on how they are going to spend their time on development. Cut the talk about how you concern about SQUAD spend their times to develop the next release. Your are as selfish as want the developer to deliver faster on the game updates so you can enjoy it. And skip on telling on how to convert PNG to JPG. I have knowledge on how to do a lost-less Gif animation. -
Not leaving Kerbin's SOI. Yes. (In my own opinion only. ) And actually, going to Minmus land and back is much easier compare with Mun land and back. Well, tell you what, I can go to Mun, land and back to Kerbin now. With tier 0. Zero mod.

Better SSTO Spaceplane Challenge (0.23.5+0.24) Fin!
Sirine replied to Sirine's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
After prepared all the craft file in a zip. I suddenly realize that if I really do that, I will spoiled the hard-work of all the participant. Why? because you did not go through their post. The introduction and main purpose of their craft build do means something for them. By skipping all those, you are merely flying craft without their soul. (Intended purpose of their craft build.) -
Mind you. A veteran can go to Jool system visit some planet there and back with tier 0. (0 unlock of science). and no mod. I'm able to land on Mun, and not able to come back.

On stream: the default screenshot are jpg. On offline playing: ... please make it jpg. (Or at least given option for it) It really save the Earth! 1) You save bandwidth of internet. 2) You save electricity for the 'entire link from upload to download, and view from countless times from countless viewer on countless forum/post/link etc.) 3) You save your own times. You save the others times. Give me a solid reason why it must be in PNG!

@shufflermuffler : Because only participant 'vote' are accounted for. -
@Northstar1989 :Much appreciated if you could convert your screenshot file format from PNG to JPG, before upload to imgur. and save me tons of time waiting pics to show up. Furthermore, if possible please make your video 1mins ~= 1mb. without sacrifice too much quality. *This can be tricky but is do-able. PM me if you want to know how.

Your Satellite might be clipping too much and generate vibration and accelerate , which produce thrust and go beyond control. Try off the SAS. You did not mention any mod install. I presume none. Is there Satellite is your only problem? You could always relaunch your Satellite. (Terminate it via the station control). And welcome to the Forums!

Ability to use ladders to climb on platforms
Sirine replied to Godot's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
@Godot Here is how it works. You just need to climb to the top edge of the ladder, press space, to let go, and your Kerbal will have a brief moment 'standing on' the ladder, and you can just press forward (direction of the platform) and jump (shift+jump). Tested, and it works. If you need video proof, just let me know. -

Have you try Shift+Jump? (To the platform direction) -
1) There are not much object to interact to. Except you launch 'A' craft, and launch 'B' craft to meet 'A' craft. 2) There are nothing much to do, EVA-ing. 3) Capture asteroid? Well, I mostly think it is rendezvous with a rock, and bring it somewhere else. 4) Land and plant a flag. And what next? Admire the scenery? I think most of us will hop back to craft and when back Kerbin, land and recover. Lets see. 1) Multiplayer create a lot of possibilities. 2) Science report really means something, if the science are more in-dept, more richer in every expect. 3) Anomalies (Easter Egg), are most fun to have, if intractable. 4) Resources management, lot of games having some degree of resource gathering and to do something on it. Gold or fame. 5) Mission. 6) Story.

Sirine replied to Sirine's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
@Hodo I dont know. I feel that, most recently the 'challenge forum' are 'lack-of-challenger'. This is noticeable since the "1st contract" comes out. Historically, 'Eve-Ascend-challenge' will come out often. Most of them are asking for 'stock', and there are hot debate of MJ-ker and non-MJ-ker. But now it seems that everything is cooling down. You might get the statistic from the Currently Active Users from the bottom of http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/ . Its like having a winter season. Total members that have visited the forum today:: should easily beat 5000. It is either everybody are busy with their daily life or they have shifted to other games. I really hope that @Xeldrak can post a challenge, he is a natural-post-attractor. Most of his post are popular, and last very long. Example are the What did you do in KSP today? and various BSC challenges. -
I don't understand why bigger isn't better
Sirine replied to Catthedragon's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
It actually depends on what do you refer to. - Bigger (Stronger) Thrust. Is always better. - Bigger (Higher) ISP. Is always better. ISP is refer to how long you can burn with the same given amount of fuel compare with other engines. -
