  1. 1) Learn to Read the "Nav-Ball". (Example:- You can achieve Lower Kerbin Orbin (LKO) with IVA view only). 2) Making a collection of "Standard Subassembly lifter" to lift your payload, start with 25tons, 50tons, 75tons, 100tons. With as minimum part count as possible. (Example:- Only 41 parts for 100tons lifter). 3) Define a standard Kerbin orbit. Example:- Interplanetary 70kmx70km(Kerbin), Refueling station 250kmx250km(Kerbin),Mun Research Station (8kmx8km),Minmus Research Station (8kmx8km). 4) Use One big batteries + stock RTG (Greatly reduce part count and fancy solar panel display, hence improve performance). 5) Skip the lighting, Its performance killer. Land on daylight, and dock on daylight. I have no excuse on not doing it on daylight.
  2. @Pawelk19860(OP) : That rocket is pretty much efficient. It is just you need to improve your driving skill. How is how. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/29364-When-to-start-Gravity-Turns?p=1365808&viewfull=1#post1365808 Staging 2 & 3 got mess up. (Check decoupler and engines) After load your craft and tested, it is lower Kerbin orbit (LOK) achieve-able (70x70km) with 2 stages + 1 little bit 3rd stage..
  3. Did you try teleporting 2 or more planet into a single orbit?
  4. That will need to be 26 hours later. Currently not having computer at hand.
  5. Is this possible. With debug On constantly thrusting northwards, and constant 'active' of that particular craft. Once the craft lost 'focus', it lost it thrust, and lost its displaced orbit.
  6. Further explain what is Aldrin Cyclers. Possible answer:- http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/51227-The-possiblility-of-a-Mars-Cycler-in-KSP http://www.reddit.com/r/KerbalAcademy/comments/1x06wa/how_to_make_a_kerbinduna_aldrin_cycler/ http://www.reddit.com/r/KerbalSpaceProgram/comments/2ar0ix/building_an_aldrin_cycler_system_is_it_possible/ http://www.reddit.com/r/KerbalSpaceProgram/comments/1sspoy/aldrin_duna_cycler_launched_and_in_position_for/ ANSWER:- http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/49803-the-cyclers-difficulty-inane?p=650160&viewfull=1#post650160
  7. 1) Practice, practice, more practice. 2) Action groups can be set in section. Just group them in general, example, 9 for light source, 0 for ladder etc. So if you have 2 section of space station that assign with key 9 (for light source) separately , once they are docked together, both of them will be activated. 3) You need to look for mods. I have no ideal.
  8. @Jolly_Roger Well if you read the rules well. It did stated that you can post whatever you want. Breaking the rules is part of the "allowed rules". Your main goal is to get vote from other participants.
  9. @Wanderfound: Perhaps you should just clear your entry thread HERE, so, people will not be confuse. BTW, OP updated.
  10. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/28352-The-Drawing-Board-A-library-of-tutorials-and-other-useful-information Yes, check out the above link.
  11. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/49216-0-24-2-Persistent-Trails-record-share-and-replay-track-data!-%28Aug-1-V1-1%29 Recommend to use this mod.
  12. Check the Times. It take few more years to get to destinations. Compared with direct burn... I rather think of how to get more dv from launch than to save dv.
  13. Yes. And no. Never any rockets launch with nuclear yet.
  14. Keep it coming. This is what I'm looking for. Come on where is others entries advertiment?
  15. Because the launch tower limits the big big massive rocket design by player, most of the veteran player.
  16. 100 tons lifter, Part count 41. (for Lifter only) http://www./download/u5x55w6puql0p25/100_tons_lifter.craft Here you go. Read Here on how to fly it.
  17. In Eastern (Asian) country. Yes, we do post a "Why I should Win" message. This is generally the culture of us that competition is so great for every expect that if we don't, someone else will do that. In fact, that is the reality here in Eastern country. Especially this kind of competition introduce in early childhood, among kids. Sportsmanship? no, put that aside. Winner takes all. You might not realize, but it is easily noticeable whenever an election is there. Or whenever a competent product launch. Such as smartphone, computer etc... All products advertise. I'm sorry if I offended someone or somehow with above saying. But hey, thats what I'm trying to say.
  18. Whenever ask for help. 1) Screenshot- helps a lot. Register an www.Imgur.com free account, and upload your pic to it and post it here. Much easier. 2) Upload your save game (persistent.sfs)- Register a free file hosting site, such as www., and upload your save file there. Post the download link here. Don't worries, with the save game, we are unable to extract your craft. As up to 0.24.2. So you remain to keep your unique special precious design craft with you safely. With the above 2 done, I Guaranty you will have you help in minutes, and tons of solution comes up to you.
  19. You are digging up Sep-2013 thread. Anyhow if you are not using Mechjeb. Here are "my-way" of doing the gravity turn. 1) Click on the 'surface' label on top the navball, so it turn to 'orbit' at launch pad. It now shows 90 degree. 2) Launch your rocket. On the ascends, the 90 degree marker will slowly going upward. (See for yourself). 3) Once the marker hit 45 Degree. Start turning your craft "press D", slowly, and "maintain-the-marker" for 45 Degree. (Turn your craft "Press D or A" to maintain it.) 4) Until you reach the altitude high of your desire, Stop engines, and wait till the marker slowly move down to 90 degree again. 5) Fire your engines, and "maintain-the-marker" at 90 degree. (Turn your craft "Press D or A" to maintain it.) Until you are circularizes orbit to Kerbin. If you understand the logic behind, congratulation, you have understand on how to read the navball. And it apply to almost ALL situation, including RSS. (Real Earth Scale mods). Read The Navball. Read The Navball. Read The Navball. Read The Navball. Read The Navball.
