What would you like to see added to KSP?
Talavar replied to DarkOwl57's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Multiplayer, that is still promised as a thing on Q&A -
- I expect them to stand by what they say. Hire another employee. It's not like they can't afford it.. -.- If they wanted to, they could release MP in 2 months time. It's not like they're doing anything else at this point, except stroking their wallet. That being teh case, they'd probably start selling KSP again just from adding MP.

Well, we've been waiting forever... where is it.. I bought this title long ago under the premise that me and my kid would be flying the Kerbal system together. 1. [...] “Shaun [Esau, the developer of the multiplayer mod] has proven that multiplayer can be done, so Squad is committed to making multiplayer a part of the final release,” Squad PR manager Bob Holtzman said. [...] http://www.pcgamer.com/kerbal-space-program-committed-to-multiplayer-career-and-sandbox-modes/ 2. Currently an officially supported multiplayer mode is not available. [...] Kerbal Space Program 1.0 officially launches in just six days’ time, but that won’t be the end of its development. Squad has promised other long-requested features, including an official multiplayer mode, which it will begin work on as soon as the developers have enjoyed a serious celebration [...] http://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/kerbal-10-release-women/ 5. [...] Is there a multiplayer? Technically, there is no multiplayer, but you can do all kinds of collaborative learning activities with the game. However multiplayer functionality is planned for Kerbal Space Program. There also exists an unofficial mod for Kerbal Space Program that adds multiplayer to the game.[...] http://www.kerbaledu.com/faq

Been a while since I was last here. thanks for the pat on the back. It pays to live a long life. Nobody knows for sure what adventure comes next, so you might as well do all you can while you can! One thing I've learned, it doesn't pay to worry. Worrying just slows you down. My grandfather said long ago, while I was trying to catch up on my bills and was going crazy trying to make ends meet..... He said "Don't worry about it. You're here, you do what you can, then you die. So why worry?" Bizarrely enough, he died the next day... but, He was right..... Don't worry.. You'll eventually reach wherever you all are trying to get to.. All you have to do is keep walking.

Jesus.. I quit playing for a while, came back, and this mod is a monster.. lol... What is "REQUIRED" in this pack for the mod to run?.. I don't want to go gutting it without asking in-case there are some strange dependencies now. -
Can anyone give an estimate on the memory footprint of this mod? Say maybe with the stock galaxy?

The average article today is generally an opinion piece passed off as fact. At least that's what it seems to me. You definitely are looking in the right direction.. as far as I'm concerned anyway. -

1: I grew up in the 80's, Yes people had news-papers, but they were much more receptive to conversation.. People would randomly talk to each other, and interact with the people sitting around them, and people had a tendency to know the people in their area... Now alot of people don't even know who their neighbors are. 2: Of course it happens. Just take a trip across youtube to see thousands of examples. ALso, some really bad excrements on worldstar hiphop that should have been stopped. Yet they just sat there and recorded saying "World Star!! world star!!" 3: There is a reason they would be on page sixteen as a foot note... something happening on the other side of the world, or on the other side of a nation is not usually something that directly effects you. A newspaper would keep you informed of local news that actually effects your way of living. If it was near you, it would be front page news.. Also, Our news is becoming less of "news" and more of an opinion piece, so there are problems there as well, and misinformation tends to run rampant on the internet, since anyone and their brother can basically write any bogus thing they want, and since social media is so accessible to everyone, that misinformation gets spread very quickly. Just a few things to consider. -

Interesting points and opinions all around. However, I think that some may have missed the main message of the video (how I interpreted it). Take the man getting beaten while everyone is recording, or the girl jumping from the building. Everyone lifts their phones so they can catch the action happening so they can post it, yet nobody actually shows an emotional effect from what is going on. In other points, people are simply ignoring the world falling down around them. The real world is taking a back seat to our social interaction in some cases. It may not be a MASS problem, but it is there none-the-less. We see so much on our social media, that when something catastrophic actually is in the process of happening, we are just as likely to take out our phones and start recording as we are to actually intervene, simply because we begin to see such things as "normal" since we have seen it over and over again. The video is simply saying "Make sure you don't become an un-emotional robot".. At least, that was my take on it. Global social interaction is creating a "world norm" which may not have been normal in your area previously. Yet, it would now be seen as trivial because you've seen it happening 100's of times on social media elsewhere in the world, even though you've never seen it in person before, you may already be numb to it's effects. -
