  1. And? You can still use the HGR stuff for it. All you need to do extra is to remove the crew, and add a probe core.
  2. Helldiver: I'm not sure how hard or easy this would be to do, but instead of having a straight name on the side of the shuttle, could you not use the new toggleable flag decal? Simply, why not designate an area for the name, then use the mission flag selector in the VAB to select what your shuttle will be named? Mission flags save with the craft file, so it would be the same every time it was loaded. Like I said, I don't know how difficult this would be, so I don't really mind if you just shoot it down off the bat.
  3. A little while ago, Lack made a move to more generalized parts, so the parts wont look like they did in the video. Needless to say however, the mod is very much alive, and still very awesome.
  4. While this is good, I have a couple of things to say: I think a better idea would be a set of Decal parts, that are mass-less, physics-less, and drag-less, that you could right click on to type something, or display a flag, or an image for a mission patch (Mission patch folder anyone?). You would have multiple of each size, and they would have to be made to fit flush with stock parts (all tank sizes, flat for wings and structural panels, and large medium and small of each, as well as portrait and landscape, and of course vertical, and it's appropriate sizes.) of course. I would personally love this kind of thing, and those of us who like to recreate real rockets, or make real looking rockets, this would be perfect. The good thing would be that it would be independent of anything you actually had set for the rocket, like the name or mission flag, as some people have some very weird names for rockets, and some are just named as the payload, so then your standard "Raptor" launcher that has it's name on the side, gets changed to be called like Ulysses DRM probe or something. If it is done as an editable part, then you can also pick and choose exactly where you want it, and possibly do some very weird and fun things. Also, I understand something would probably not be made until much closer to 1.0, but keep in mind SQUAD: This would be one of the most epic things et!
  5. Recon it could beat an Ion Cannon? From orbit? With more power than a nuke?
  6. O. M. G. I want this. Even if it's only for the LAS, RCS and engine, I want this! Seriously Blackheart! You are awesome at this!
  7. I'll have a go! Though you probably wont hear from me until the end of each build.
  8. Just wondering about the construction mechanic for the ships. Will it be like the current "Lego" aspect of KSP, or are you planning to do more of a similar system to the creature editor in spore, or somewhere in between?
  9. *Has to replace keyboard because of drooling while looking at pretty new engine.* I. Must. Haz! I Volunteer as TRIBUTE! I will test anything and everything, and these parts will be perfect for me! (I am making a Constellation Programme full replica, using SDHI, along with other mods. After I'm done I planning on posting it as a video.)
  10. How are people having such dense and 3D clouds? Has BoulderCo updated?
  11. Nope. Gimballing (The animation) doesn't need a plugin. What you need to do is set up the Nozzle of your engine to be a different object in Unity. You would then parent the nozzle object to the ThrustTransform, and Viola, done. Thrust is gimballed by rotating the ThrustTransform. By parenting the nozzle to the transform, you will rotate it too. This will produce weird rotation if you place the transform at the end of the nozzle however, so make sure to place the transform at the base of the nozzle, and adjust your collider accordingly.
  12. Wasn't the N1 ~4500T, whereas the Saturn V was ~3000T? Doesn't that mean the N1 should have a greater payload capability, as it used more efficient engines like the NK33, over the RocketdyneF-1? Or did ALL of the stages run on Kerolox? If they did then that explains it, but still, I seriously thoought it had a higher payload capacity. Anyway, I voted Buran.
  13. Ooh! I was just checking to make sure it wouldn't ruin anything, lol. If it even helps performance with an Intel CPU then my AMD one will benefit a lot. (1.9GHz Dual Core. Yeah, I can't make much stuff before it lags out.) (Also, it turns out I messed up when I posted the thread. I have an AMD "Quad Core" (Although apparently it's only a Dual Core?) A8-4500M CPU, and my GPU is an AMD HD 7670M gDDR3 2GB Hybrid. (Whatever the hell that means.))
  14. In the launcher, there is an AMD compatibility mode. I have an AMD Radeon Vision 8 GPU. How will this affect my game if I activate it?
  15. Veeery nice. Just perfect for what I have planned. (Full recreation of the constellation programme.)
  16. So I'm the only one who got a noticeable decrease in performance?
  17. Last update made it slightly better for me, so hopefully this bodes well. (Haven't played yet. Too much planning and configuration.)
  18. Dear SCIENCE! We're close! So close I can almost taste the update! EDIT: Ho, DAYUM! Ninja'd by less than 30 seconds!
  19. 1 - Money and Career 2 - Proper Aerodynamics. 3 - Biome Mapping 4 - Parts 5 - New Planets/Celestial Bodies 6 - IVA enhancements (Mobility, actual uses other than eye candy and challenge, etc.) 7 - EVA enhancements (KAS-like abilities on EVA, EVA only science gear, more suits, etc.) 8 - Kerbal enhancements (Kerbals having individual looks, girl kerbals, personality traits having effects on the mission, etc.) 9 - Life Support 10 - Re-entry heat
  20. Go to one of his landers and plant an immense amount of flags, and leave snippets of messages in each flag except for one, which contains the full message. Also, name them all to be identical to his flag at his lander. (If he has one.) If he doesn't have a flag, then do this, but name them all the exact same name as the lander.
  21. Constellation FTW. Even with all of the problems and impossibilities in the program, it is still my favourite. It could've worked, eventually. Just not exactly the way it was planned.
  22. Well, I have had an infiniglider travelling at over 6km/s relative to kerbin's surface before... (It immediately crashed however.)
