Fatal Error with B9
Stone Blue replied to bubbabeast81's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Oh gawd... Yet again, OPT :face_palm: Please chec that you have all the mod dependencies installed for OPT. I assume you do have OPT Reconfig installed, or I would expect a *slew* of errs there. If you dont already have Community Resource Pac installed, try installing that. Also, I can guarantee you, that you ave an OPT issue, NOT B9. EDIT: Oh.. i also just notice the out of date MM warning, too. Mae sure you have the correct version of ModuleManager for the KSP version you are on. Also, mae sure you only have ONE copy of MM... tons of mods pacage and install MM themselves... this is the problem with packaging dependencies with mods. ESPECIALLY, with manual mod installations. If you need moar help with this, please tae it to the OPT Legacy/Reconfig thread. -
Mods wont Download!! :(
Stone Blue replied to theCAVE's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
It depends on each mod. Some mods get indexed very quicly, if there are no issues. Some need to be reviewed by the CKAN team, first... which can take however long it takes one of them to review, on their own, free time. That being said, those guys are very active in the community, and barring any *serious* issues preventing the mod from being CKAN indexed, (ie they need to contact and hear bac from a mod dev before putting it up on CKAN), but generally, CKAN is generally very quic to update mods. As to installing it, its a seperate program from KSP (ie in Windows its an .exe). So you install it however you normally install any program in Linux vOv Once you get it running, you set it up to point at your KSP directory, browse for mods you want to install, and it does the rest. -
[1.8.x-1.9.x] Kerbal Changelog v1.3.0 (6.14.20)
Stone Blue replied to Benjamin Kerman's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
So I just started using the mod again... Really appreciate it. Just one little QoL request, however, if its not too hard to do... And I apologize if its been mentioned before. Any chance to get a settings button added, for allowing switching between Unity and solid KSP skins? I find it inda hard to read, with the current transparent Unity skin. https://imgur.com/E05iFaP -
KSP Store? Yeah... if I click any of the links for download, nothing happens... I dont get ANY err page load... just a blank tab. Are either of you on Firefox v85.+? If so, take a look at my thread, https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/200002-ksp-forum-and-recent-firefox-850-update-https-only-mode/ , try toggling the new HTTPS Only Mode settings, to see if that helps. Please post your findings there. Thanx

[1.3] NavBallTextureChanger v1.6 (8/7/17)
Stone Blue replied to TheRagingIrishman's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
@TheRagingIrishman no, i dont mind... go ahead... it would make it easier for everybody I was thining about a readme, tho... with instructions on how to use them, along with how to change the URLs in the config.cfg/settings.cfg, a license for the textures, as well as adding the diffuse/emissive info that @therealcrow999 compiled a couple posts back. I was gonna try to note in the filenames which emmisives could be used with each diffuse, but I was going brain fried, trying to compare them all... lol Thanx for that, therealcrow999 -
So here's a compilation of all the shared NB textures from the Navball Texture Changer thread. These textures should also work with Texture Replacer, and possibly DiRT. IIRC, there was also a way to use them to replace the NB textures for use in RPM, in IVAs. Idk if MAS can do that. vOv All of them were compiled from posts on the thread, and most should be available there for single file download, either in the 2nd post, or elsewhere in the thread. I've only compiled them together in a single .zip for ease of grabbing them all at once. By forum members publicly sharing them in posts on that thread, its assumed licensing is, as stated in the OP of the Navball Texture Changer thread: "If there's no license included in your post, it will be assumed to be CC-BY (can be reused, as long as credited)" I've tried to prefix filenames with due credit. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DOcqJUkHMXjEzt0OCpOmmrtt7dyQkWSz/view?usp=sharing Several were not sized in proper Power of 2 format for textures. I've made resized copies, to the nearest proper size, in the main folder, denoted with a suffix of the new size. The originals *work*, as KSP handles resizing them, but it does create log spam about them, and Idk how much of a tiny performance hit the game taes, in converting them, but I've put those original textures into a seperate subfolder, just in case, and if anyone ever wants to rework them from the originals. Personally, I would delete that folder, after unzipping to the proper place in GameData. I've also added the suffix of `_DIF` & `_EMM`, to those textures that have both a normal texture and a matching emmisive texture. There are several different diffuse textures that can use one of the emissives. I've tried to correctly give credit on each texture, by prefixing, 1st, the original submitter, followed 2nd by whoever has submitted an edit. Please LMK if there are issues, doubles, or if anyone finds moar NB textures to add, that arent already in there. Tagging you, @shaw, in case you'ld consider adding the link to your OP. EDIT: for shaw... I guess hold off on adding that lin to OP.. theRagingIrishman just posted on the NB Texture Changer thread, that they were gonna add a readme & stuff, and include it in the release for that mod. With his permission, I can rehost it seperately, and you could lin to *that* copy, once I post it. I'll PM you then about it, if i dont hear bac from you first.

Since you posted... just an FYI, I'm throwing together a .zip collection of all those NB textures. I've changed the filenames to try to give credit where due. The ones you did are included. Its just the textures, so they *should* be useable by Navball Texture Changer, TR, and mebbe DiRT... mebbe others? Also, IIRC, they can be used to replace RPM NB textures in IVAs... not sure if MAS can do it, tho

@KawaiiLucy its because you are targeting #CrewCapacity... the drone & rover cores, and others, dont have that key defined in the cfgs. You could either add a seperate patch to the parts missing it, to add it before your patch runs, or better, try to target the minimumCrew = key in ModuleCommand. CrewCapacity & minimumCrew define two different things. Idk if this would work: PART[*]:HAS[@MODULE[ModuleCommand[#minimumCrew[0]]],!MODULE[kOSProcessor]]:NEEDS[kOS]:Final

Your log looks surprising clean... You are showing an EXC from _BuildManager.dll... I dont now what that is, but I have been seeing it a *LOT* lately. Further down, I would say this could be your main issue w/MechJeb. (IIRC, MJ checs other .dlls for issues. so even tho, its MJ giving you warnings, its not really MJ *causing* the issue... just telling you about it): [ERR 07:44:55.888] MechJeb caught a ReflectionTypeLoadException. Those DLL are not built for this KSP version: [ERR 07:44:55.889] [x] Science! 4.0.5409.41876 GameData\GameData\[x] Science!\[x] Science!.dll SO, off the bat, I would chec [x] Science, as the current version, built for 1.9.+. v5.2.6, is probably what you should be using on 1.11.1

[1.3] NavBallTextureChanger v1.6 (8/7/17)
Stone Blue replied to TheRagingIrishman's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Yeah.. I have those in the collection I use one of Lokaltog's that I modified way back... they are the ones posted in the 2nd post. I *should* get around to making sure the emmisive one WarriorSabe did for the original one works with mine, and if not, make one of my own. I dont remember, I may have tried to recompile, but I know just enuff code to be dangerous, and can barely recompile something But, yeah, the origianl v1.6 wors fine for me...from every KSP version from when it was released, all the way thru to 1.11.1. No errs, other than one texture is not the correct power of 2's resolution. But that can be disregarded, as KSP will account for that. Also, no I wont make a new thread, and fork this mod. I would, if I could code...but like I said, I'm dangerous with code.. Hopefully, theRagingIrishman will revisit, and mebbe add my lin for an All-In-One .zip download of the whole collection of textures, so far. vOv I might also contact Shaw about mebbe linking it on the official TR thread OP... vOv -
[1.3] NavBallTextureChanger v1.6 (8/7/17)
Stone Blue replied to TheRagingIrishman's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Ahh.. ok... Yes, that works fine too... I always move the NB as far to the left as I can, since I'm on a 1600x900 screen, and need all the screen realestate in the center, that I can get... EDIT: Just checed, and I've been using RagingIrishman's v1.6.0 lined in the OP, since they released it. Do you have a link or post, to this newer recompile, I didnt come across it in this thread. vOv (tho i *was* simming, pretty fast, updating my collection of all the NB textures posted in this thread.) Btw, I had asked @TheRagingIrishman awhile bac, about linking a .zip collection of all the textures in one dwnload, but no response. Give me a bit, and I'll throw one up on my GoogleDrive, and link here in the thread. -
KSP forum and recent Firefox 85.0 update (HTTPS-Only Mode)
Stone Blue replied to Stone Blue's topic in Kerbal Network
Idk... I also run HTTPS Everywhere, and turning it on/off doesnt seem to make any difference. The only other extensions I have enabled are NoScript and Stylus... I guess I should test with *those* disabled? vOv So i tested with *every* single one of my extensions disabled, and all my FF privacy settings, set to basically totally open, to restrict *nothing*, and allow *everything*... Even disabling HTTPS Only Mode... even doing this, I still see the same exact behaviour on both the forums, AND the KSP Store... I'm at a total loss, and certainly dont want to have to install one of those, *OTHER*, browsers, simply to be able to download from the KSP Store... :cry -
[1.3] NavBallTextureChanger v1.6 (8/7/17)
Stone Blue replied to TheRagingIrishman's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I just tried it in 1.11.1, and it still seems to be working purrfektly fine for me. Idk what you mean by "rearrangement", but scaling seems to work fine... I always rescale NB to 120%... I just tried 150%, 100% and 78%.... works fine -
@GregSeventy7 are you on Firefox?... did it just update in past few days for you? I ask, becuase my FF updated to v85.0, and since then, when I clcik my forum bookkmark, it goes to an HTTPS warning, before I can click "Continue" button to load the forums. I guess FF just recently added an HTTPS-Only Mode, that if enabled, doesnt let you go directly to a non-HTTPS page without a warning... which, for some reason is happening to me, even tho the forums *look* lie they already ARE, HTTPS.... vOv If that seems like it could be your issue, reply to my thread about it, instead of cluttering up here with what would be an off-topic reply

Is it not working, or something broken?

[1.12.X] Neptune Camera - Basic Camera Utility [4.3][21.06.2023]
Stone Blue replied to Beale's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
do you already have different zoom levels? mebbe have a *seperate* button that switches the camera view, to a pre-set, wide FoV/zoom level, kinda lie a "spotting scope" level... vOv and doesnt change any preset zoom level, when you switch bac to "picture taking mode" -
My KSP will not load on my new PC...
Stone Blue replied to PalowPower's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Yes, WBITools *is* a dependency for *most* of the WBI suite of mods... possibly some of the other mods by Angel-125 as well. However, if it IS a dependency for a mod, Angel includes it in that mods' release pacage... So if there are problems regarding WBITools or the BARIS bridge, its generally due to an incorrect mod install. You say this is a new PC?... so a fresh Windows? Where is your KSP folder saved? If on your C:\, it *could* be a folder access/write permissions issue. Windows is very protective of letting programs write to certain locations on C:\, specifically, the three Program Files related folder... which just happens to be where Windows *installs* most programs... -

[1.2] Kerbal Kommander: a new way to play KSP
Stone Blue replied to gagarinekerman's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Yeah.. I tested also in 1.11.1... but the game loading freezes due to this mod. Not surprising... (I would have been MOAR surpised if it DID work... ) Probably moar involved than a simple re-compile. But would be nice if someone picked this mod bac up.- 275 replies

SO, a couple days ago, Firefox shoved a major unexpected update on me. FF seems to added some new HTTPS-Only Mode. I have been running the HTTPS Everywhere extension for years. .. This seems to pretty much be *that*, but theres no customization options in FF. Its either always ON. or always OFF. NO per-site options to change. Anyway, enabling it, *every* time I load up the forum now, I get this page, and its kinda annoying. EDIT: Based on this thread I just saw, Here, I tried to grab various downloads from the KSP Store. Nothing happens when I click ANY of the download links. If I open a link in a new tab, its just blank. not even any pageloading err message, like above, that i get for the forums. In looking into the HTTPS Everywhere extension settings, I found a link to the HTTPS Everywhere Atlas, and looking at Kerbalspaceprogram.com, this is what it reports: <!-- Nonfunctional hosts in *kerbalspaceprogram.com: - forum * * Refused Insecure cookies are set for these hosts: - kerbalspaceprogram.com - www.kerbalspaceprogram.com --><ruleset name="Kerbal Space Program.com (partial)"> <!-- Direct rewrites: --> <target host="kerbalspaceprogram.com"/> <target host="www.kerbalspaceprogram.com"/> <!-- Not secured by server: --> <!--securecookie host="^(www\.)?kerbalspaceprogram\.com$" name="^(_pk_uid|PHPSESSID)$" /--> <securecookie host="^(?:www\.)?kerbalspaceprogram\.com$" name=".+"/> <rule from="^http:" to="https:"/> </ruleset> I have no idea what that all means, and I cant tell if its blocking something on *my* end, or what? vOv Just wondering if others are seeing this, and if its an easy fix on the forum side. It *looks* like the forums *already* are setup for HTTPS-only? vOv Anyway, thanks for looking
