  1. I detach it at around 10K when the atmosphere thins out a little. Any lower and you drop to almost nil speed.
  2. Hey guys, just an update. Firstly, this mod is not dead. Secondly, Khaos is currently in the process of moving and will be offline for a few days until he gets internet up in his new place, so no models or anything for now. Thirdly, we are thinking of redoing the Saturn-Nova models we have since they may not line up with the 2.5 command pod. Khaos says to just resize them, and I'm thinking of doing that, but if they we resize all the parts and the whole craft doesn't fit in the VAB, we may redo them. Or just tell you to go through the floor Fourthly, we still need a dedicated texture artist please!

It is one tough ship, surviving an asteroid impact, a whole battle with hull breaches all over, and it's highly maneuverable. In the movie, two ships crashed not five hundred meters in front of it and it was able to dive down under them, clearing the whole ship of the wreck. It would also be awesome if you could do the landers and escape pod it carries.

  5. It wouldn't need to be over six meters. If the Apollo module is 2.5 then the first stage would come out to be about 5m Apollo- 2.5 S- IVB - 3.75 S-II - 5 S-IC - 5 (without the skirts and fins)
  6. I know, I'm just asking if he plans to do a Skylab after Saturn is done, or if he's not going to, or if he'll give it some thought. I would personally love to see Skylab made.

  8. You don't need a plugin for that thanks to tweakables. He can just put all that stuff as tweakables.

  13. I would like to see many rover based Items. List/ideas: A four wheel chassis: instead of placing for separate wheels you just place a two wheel holder(front and back) on either side of the rover. A six wheel chassis An eight wheel chassis A more compact RTG system so that unmanned small rovers don't have to use that big bulky one. Solar Panels for unmanned rovers. A two, four, and six man rover cabin.

  15. Hey, Frizzank. I don't know if this is a bug, or if you did this on purpose but, you can turn off the Explorers SRBs. Is this a bug, on purpose, or you just missed that when you made the config?
  16. The IVA internals are set in the config file. All you need to do is add your internal's name to it.   18. -I'll look into creating thoses, though my fairings might not be as good as say KWs, Procedural Fairings, or NPs fairings. I'm trying to test out how to make fairings for the 14A so that they decouple outward instead of the rocket just having to slowly drift out of the interstage, but I'm having trouble with it. For right now, the best bet would to be use Procedural Fairing's largest fairing holder and just strut it down. Some news pertaining to the mod. Tygoo 7 has left the team due to school and stuff in his life. So, we will be needing a new texture artist to texture the models. If you want to join the team, go ahead and send me or Khaos a pm with examples of your texture skills. We will try to get textures out ourselves, but we are at best... low to no skill at textureing.

  20. The sub-assembly system does not 'weld' your parts together. They are still all there separate part. Meaning that if you did not strut them, it will most likely wiggle and wobble. The sub-assembly system only saves parts, it doesn't make them one giant part. There is a plugin that will weld your parts together to make one part. It saves ram and cpu usage, but it has not been worked on since .21 I believe. Don't quote me on that. I haven't seen it since .21 so I'm assuming it's not been worked on. I could have just missed it. Anyway, if this is just a question and not an add-on development thread such as a WIP, Development Thread, or Planning Thread, this should not be posted in this part of the forums. It belongs in General KSP: Gameplay Questions and Tutorials forum, or the Development and Support: Support and Bugs forum. If this is just a question, you need to ask the mods to move it. If it is a legitimate development thread for a plugin, then you need to edit the first post and the title to say that.

  22. Oh, on another note, NOVA 34(the first link in the fourth post) is going to be two different kinds. NOVA 34 to 2.5 meter and then NOVA 34 with it's own payload. NOVA 34 to 2.5 meter is an SSTO Rocket. So, question time. Would you want it mathed out to how much fuel it can have, or would you want it to be able to get into orbit and even to other planets period? Vote now! Sorry, I'll remember that in the future. Okay, It's finally here! The test release for the Saturn-nova Stage one!
