Einstein also disliked Quantum Mechanics and the Copenhagen Interpretation which might prompt him to make the quote, but it is still silly. If the experiment depends on QM, it likely has a probability component to it, and trying it over again will give different results. "Einstein would turn over in his grave. Not only does God play dice, the dice are loaded.".

Bust, until we can get our hands on matter that likely doesn't exist, or at the very least will be fiendishly difficult to fabricate. Also fusion, etc.

Squadcast Summary 2015/09/04 - But Who Will Rescue the Rescuers?
NFUN replied to Superfluous J's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Your italics got a bit messed from in the middle, but that's ok. Thanks! -
With all of the porting work FTE is doing, I doubt they'll make it Kinect compatible, at least right away.

It only has demonstrated one property of superconductivity as of now. More tests will be done later, but there isn't enough information to call it 'truely [sic] superconductive' yet.

Due to the developers rushing it, FO4 ultimately becomes more infamous and broken than Sonic '06. I wish plainawesome would change his Steam avatar to the Windows 7 pearl or Windows 8/10.

Quantum tunneling is a quantum phenomenon in which particles can bypass a barrier that it intuitively (classically) should not be able to bypass. As the barrier gets smaller, the likelihood of a particle 'tunneling' through it increases. In electronics, very thin circuits promote more electron tunneling, which leads to inefficiencies and overheating. Graphene is a single sheet of graphite; it's a hexagonal pattern of carbon molecules, similar to an unfolded carbon nanotube. It has interesting conductive properties and could be a candidate to replace current silicon circuits. K^2, please correct any inaccuracies

The Multithreading U5 will allow is not the panacea for KSP's ills; the information we have is nebulous, but it appears that it will help with lag when two ships are being rendered and processed at once more than it will help single ships. That is far more than a stretch. With standard computers, it would probably not be possible as we are reaching the limit on CPU density thanks to quantum tunneling and other factors to reach that milestone. Quantum computing also would probably not fit the application of KSP, so most likely only advanced, exotic forms of computers, with graphene being an example, will be able to have enough power. Even then, KSP would probably have to be rewritten into another game. It's a longshot, but perhaps if KSP was integrated into the firmware of TV remotes we'd have a chance... Don't profess one version is the best in your opinion when no others have even been released yet.

Don't install stupid things and keep off of sketchy websites.

3/10 for not drilling the Kerbal Source

I got bored over the summer, so when I got my new phone I installed this hack for Pokemon Emerald. I'm almost finished making my team of Salamence, Gengar, Gardevoir, Aggron, Metagross and Volcarona. NOTE: Salamence may be replaced with Garchomp, Gengar may be replaced with Hydreigon, Gardevoir may be replaced with Alakazam, Aggron may be replaced with Tyranitar. Please drink responsibly.

So I might upgrade my home console..... Xbox One or PS4?
NFUN replied to Cobalt60's topic in The Lounge
Get a PC unless you have friends with one of the consoles. If so, get what they have. - - - Updated - - - The second point is fair, but I don't understand the Microsoft hate. They can sometimes try to be 'authoritarian' but they've always had the decency to back off under public pressure, and the whole hubbub about Windows 10 stealing your data was taken out of context from their cloud service's EULA, which is standard. If you want to give me a response, you should probably PM me so we don't go off topic. -
Anybody subscribing to the 'Internet of Things' will soon be able to tell their appliances to assemble into a rocket and fly to space.

Most games with multiplayer are either only on one system (most racing games) or are FPSs or have FPS elements, which don't work cross platform because PC players always end up dominating whenever it is tested.
-
It’s easier than ever before for independent developers to publish to console platforms. With Unity you can target PS4, PS3, Xbox One, XBox 360, PlayStation Mobile, PlayStation Vita and Wii U free of charge. Looks like it is.

My god... alt-tabbing from fullscreen games to the desktop is instant! This is beautiful...

If it's new enough, they might not have bothered to put up a clever 404 message and Lorem ipsum just threw together a bunch of video game memes together dolor sit amet out of time constrains and laziness.

He was No True Scotsmanning the Fallacy Fallacy. And the Fallacy Fallacy doesn't apply if the user has evidence and argument besides pointing out the fallacy. If he argues against the point even though it is fallacious, he is fine.

I'd say that Squad was going to announce it later, and Nintendo released the video earlier than it should have been. It'll public again concurrently with Squad's official announcement.
-
Maybe the reason that Squad is deciding to expand to Wii U (and to a lesser extent, XBox 1) is that KSP performs so much better on Unity 5 that they felt it would be perfectly fine... I hope...

Not watching a video, but with no moon there'd be no tides, which would probably greatly slow sea-land life evolution.

Choose one of what?

Jupiter radiates away more energy than it receives from the Sun, as does Saturn. A lot of planetary activity exists independently from solar radiation. There's a lot of interesting things happening at Uranus and Neptune, and even studying their composition and moons would be desirable.
