    Claw doing fuel transfer is a bit unrealistic (unless it's 2 claws attaching to each other), and the drawback of it is less stability and more break-ability.

    Would be nice. Wouldn't wander off very far and would stay away from cliffs. Maybe custom pathing.

    No, atomic engines are much better than ion. The only drawback is size and weight. Still, ions cannot reliably do most maneuvers without wasting tons of time.

    There is something like this called the kerbalizer. Find it on the main website. I dont want the devs wasting time on more of this.

    At first I thought you meant these Anyways, wouldn't higher weight make you more likely to die in high-grav planets like eve? Also exo suit would make the weight of craft higher.

    Except the craft would get instantly destroyed on launch. Unless you are sending a heavy duty, small probe it wouldn't do anything.

    I agree, there should at least be warning. Maybe the craft would go into a "ghost" mode?

    Yup. They are stupider by orders of magnitude, but I guess since they can make rocket parts so they may have a few "sparks" of intellect. Also, they must have been blessed with luck for all their make-shift parts to work right and the fact that they could survive alone.
