I've found there is a list of ways to get extremely maneuverable planes and you really need to find what fields to fill for your preference. Hey Katateochi! One off topic tip to building water planes is put your wheels on the end of vertical fins so your plane is raised out of the water (like hydrofoils IRL) works very well with some experimentation.

Yes you can build extremely maneuverable planes stock. I built this plane a while ago and its extremely maneuverable: Kestrel This is easily the most maneuverable of all planes I've built. Have fun flying this thing around the VAB or launching missiles into the tower! Kestrel Kestrel - with external fuel tank Kestrel Fighter Basically if you add a crap load of wings in the right areas, it will add a crap load of maneuverability . Although it generally likes to induce slight infi-glide and will wobble with speeds over about 200 m/s. It's a prime example of super maneuverability though. The plane is even more maneuverable with the fuel tank proving my point xD. Edit: I personally prefer not to use SAS but it can be good for this too (My plane has I think 2 modules). Later!

I don't like Dres either (lol see my signature). It has no monoliths and it's all alone in its orbit. Although I think Tylo is scariest to me. I have yet to land on it at all

Keep on playing! I got the demo back in .13 and barely returned from the mun then. Trial and error my friend xD. I'd suggest getting mechjeb and learning from how it handles maneuvers and transfers and docking/matching orbits and all the other stuff and then uninstall it after it's all understood. It worked for me. Everything isn't actually all that hard as long as you know how to quick save at good times and have done it once or twice before. Later!

I currently have my first asteroid in orbit and am waiting until I complete the R&D tree to do stuff with it. I WILL be adding wings to it and flying it to KSC hopefully

I haven't worked on part 3 in a while although I have most of the film. I'll be working on that before I complete my asteroid plane :3 (meaning it should be completed soon).

The 2 farthest moons are a pain to land on if your dV tight as their highly eccentric. I'd actually go for Vall as you could return and you could look at the awesome monolith near its south pole .

That's exactly what I did. I started and unlocked about 12 branches and decided to add the science archive and trees to my new save. Although I'm only copying the archived science and points. I'll need to re-flag everything.

Asteroids. xD I'm planning on docking either a B or C asteroid inside the wings and tail and adding landing gear and fly it in like general Greivous's mother ship. Like this but with wings Or just land it :I

I'm playing through Career mode before playing with the new parts. Currently I'm flying to Duna and Jool. The only new ARM pieces I've messed with are the new SRB and the fuel tank/rocket hybrid. Hybrid rockets VERY strong. I got an encounter to Duna without even decoupling the upper ascent stage. The nuclear engines haven't even been used yet. See the stream here Later!
