  1. This is a Scatterer bug- please first remove Scatterer to confirm that the bug disappears, and than try RE-DOWNLOADING Scatterer and replacing it. I can't stress it enough you have to re-download it. I'm not sure why but the tests I did back in the day indicated that only a re-download of scatterer fixed it. The CKAN file was created by a different user and it was set up improperly so it thinks all of the parent mods are required (none of them are, except MM). A very kind user messaged me about this last week and I think we might have an update coming soon
  2. Woah, I missed your comment! I forgot to change the header, but this should still work great with the newest update of EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements and Kopernicus. Sorry for the lack of attention. When you say 'future update aspirations', did you have any features in particular in mind? I could probably tell you if I've thought about them or not
  3. Huh, I'll try and reupload it. It won't be until late tonight though sadly I get back in about 7 hours.
  4. @erickerman and @Ocid could you guys try deleting that file that Erickerman pointed out? Doing so should make Duna use Scatterers default atmosphere configs.
  5. Hm... Something is going on then. Did you ever open the EVE GUI or hit "apply"? Doing so breaks my EVE configs for Duna since I did some magic with modulemanager to check if Scatterer is installed, and hitting apply creates a duplicate of the blue hue.
  6. That's how Duna is supposed to look with Spectra and no Scatterer installed, though I've been meaning to dim down the blue. There was an old planet pack called Better Atmospheres that introduced the blue-tinted Duna, and I kept it in as a bit of a homage. Here's the aim for my pack:
  7. Huh, I'll have to look into that. I'm not sure why that might be causing this but that's certainly interesting
  8. I'm sorry but I don't have any other links the folder is about 300mb if I recall correctly, so it makes sense why you might have issues. All I can say is try downloading at a time of day you know your local neighborhood won't have many people online, and hope for the best.
  9. Oh man... Linux, this has been one of my favorite little mods for a while and I am so excited to see it join your family It's a cinematographer's dream, too.
  10. Glad you like it! The darkness is a result of using PlanetShine/DistantObjectEnhancement/Scatterer and you can improve it in the pause menu by setting ambient light to around +10% and map ambient light to +20/30%, or any other value you want. Does that help?
  11. Huh, yeah that looks right. I wonder why it doesn't look right for you. Did you watch the trailer video? It should look pretty close to that.
  12. Yo! I might have a fix, I forgot to update that readme. Can you please remove the KSPRC folder from GameData, and inside GameData/Spectra remove the Kopernicus/terrain config?
  13. Hey there! Good question, and I have this same problem too. Mess around with the 'ambient light adjustment' settings in KSP's settings (pause your game and go into settings and they're right there). I have mine set for 10% (0.1) ambient light, and 20% (0.2) for the map. Spectra does not work with any planet packs. It takes a lot of effort to make a stock solar system Kopernicus pack work with non-stock systems (it literally rearranges the planets), and since I don't use any solar system mods, I have no reason/drive to convert it. Sorry that said, you can learn and try yourself if you like, Spectra is totally free to modify.
  14. WOW I got here fast Excellent questions, and equally impressive answers. I love this level of transparency! Also looking forwards to Persistent rotation and better audio! One of KSP's downfalls for me has been the lack of audio for parts, so I look forwards to this greatly
  15. It was an honor I feel like such a dunce for not recognizing you immediately when you said your username, I've seen you all over the place! I hope to meet up again
  16. Scatterer bug. Almost certain of that. Can you remove Scatterer from your GameData and relaunch to confirm? Also, re-download Scatterer while you're at it sometimes the files corrupt and you have to grab a new download.
  17. Ah so the fault is definitely in Spectra_Scatterer. I gave you the wrong directions sorry, that was the folder that I meant I'll have to update my configs then.
