  1. To install it you literally copy and merge GameData from the .zip to your KSP directory. That's all
  2. *3AM* ... @pizzaoverhead, I was thinking as I walked home, I think it would be handy to have a "time buffer" for playlists starting and stopping. That way if you're on the ground and then hit some air for 5 seconds your playlist won't stop playing or same if you throttle off for a split second. Make sense? Something like "Play music after [X] seconds have passed of the parameters being met" or vice versa "Don't stop playlist until [X] seconds have passed of the parameters not being met".
  3. This is fantastic! Thank you so much for the detailed report! I hope to release a couple of sound packs for you - The vast majority of the tracks I will be using are CC so there shouldn't be any issues with copywrite. I didn't know the OP of Hyperedit was watching this thread TIL - Also, it's funny that you should say Myst... I haven't ever played the game but I know of it from listening to Martin O'Donnell, the song writer for Halo, Halo 3/ODST and the majority of the other halo games. I did some research on him and apparently Myst was the game that inspired him to go into a career as a video game composer. He wrote the music for the Riven, the sequel to Myst. Caught my attention when you mentioned it Perhaps this is new info to you?
  4. Np! It should be TextureReplacer/Default/Squad/Parts/[part categories]/[individual parts]. I was a newb at one point too - still am in some regards EDIT: One more thing - are you copying the WindowShine ".cfg" file? That's what has the modules that tell TR what parts to add reflections to. If you don't copy it over along with the WindowShine folder than nothing will happen. Is it this perhaps?
  5. You might want to poke around inside the TextureReplacer config files. Reflections might not be enabled on default anymore in 1.1.x and you might need to reenable them? Other than that I don't know what could be causing this not to work. TR is up to date correct?
  6. Sorry to say but I don't have an answer for either of your questions - And don't worry people like you . Sometimes they just don't know how to respond, that's all .
  7. Hmm I'd love to help out (Didn't buy from steam but well over 1k hours ) but I'm sadly up near Seattle. Maybe someday
  8. Mmmm I've been listening and collecting some great songs throughout the past months and once this is out I plan on making a couple of soundtrack packs - 6+ building songs as well as 10+ space tracks and even more for other various things in the main soundtrack pack. The others are more situationally based like a space ambient soundtrack pack and such. @pizzaoverhead, I'm curious though, will it be possible to have specific playlists for a very strict set of parameters? I.E. have a "docking playlist" start when you have been within 2 kilometers of another vessel while above 60 kilometers above [All] planets for over 10 seconds? Would such a complicated set of parameters be easily configurable for the average joe? Pun both intended and not intended Likewise I'm curious if I could make a "reentry playlist" for if you are above [x] m/s and have entered the atmosphere above [X] planet.
  9. I haven't booted up 1.1.2 yet (super busy atm :/ - Also Overwatch) so I haven't been able to personally confirm that it works. If you think though, I can totally update the OP's compatible version.
  10. Hmm sorry to hear you're having frame rate issues . Feel free to modify and mess around all you want with the WindowShine configs - If you do anything please post about it here too! It's always fun to read.
  11. Man... this is going to be a busy weekend . Camping trip, writing an essay, attending an Overwatch launch event, and all the time holding back hype and watching for KSPRC
  12. One thing I used to love in old EVE was the green tint that @Proot added to the edge of Eve's atmosphere. I can't find the old album with it but here's a video of his that shows it. I don't know if it's doable in Scatterer or new EVE though. At least, not yet that is.
  13. Is... is that a bit of lush green I see hidden among those clouds too? It's so beautiful Props to both of you... this is amazing.
  14. There should be a reflections .cfg somewhere in the download that you can delete to turn off reflections. I don't know what it's called but it'll be filled with part modules with the name "TRReflection". Hope this helps. Agh! I was completely wrong apparently. My bad
  15. Hmm... I know a lot about reflections but sadly not too much in that field. All I know is that VSPR has modulemanager configs written to have priority over others and I think it might do some magic with the plain Squad folder without TR. You may find some luck however in opening the VSPR configs and deleting sections for parts with issues. Same can be said for KSPRC modulemanager configs or textures. Try searching by internal part name as we as external. They should both in the part configs.
  16. What in particular is broken about the parts? Is it just overlapping textures? reflections? Models? Idk if I can help but I'll try my best lol
  17. I third this movement You should definitely start a new thread.
  18. It's kind of funny, I've got a group of people on skype who all wanted to see it while on call so we could chat at the same time. The plans haven't happened yet though
  19. @Proot have you seen Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind? I was imagining for a second the surface of Eve being covered in spores looking like the toxic jungle from that movie. Descending through the clouds would be like a curtain unveiling... The upper atmosphere colored in various shades of classic Eve purple, and under that would be a belt of clear and cloudless air that you fall through until a few hundred kilometers from the surface. The clouds below the clear belt however would a toxic looking mixture of these four colors. There'd also be spore particles brushing around in the stale air. I got really bored and made a very quick concept:
  20. Hey Proot, random question. Have you even been a fan of Miyazaki films? I.E. Totoro or Howl's Moving Castle or other studio Ghibli films? I had an interesting idea regarding Eve and EVE which I might end up implementing myself
  21. Hmm hey @Rune I'm not sure if you've done any experimentation with this toroidal hinge design yet, but I thought you might like to experiment with it yourself: I haven't tested this in U5 yet but I've heard that the random docking port nulrefs have been fixed. The basic concept with this is a friction-less station hinge. I thought you might like peeking at this if you haven't see it yet.
  22. 9/10 - Your signature is nice and tidy! I almost wish it was wider though. It only uses a third of the signature line
  23. 8/10 - I've seen you around
