  1. My SX-13 frigate still works, as does my much more aesthetically-minded SX-00 Spectre: I'm probably going to make a replacement for my old SX-3, since its part count has ballooned out of proportion, and then focus on strong medium-to-small size ships, filling specialist roles.
  2. Also: I've started working on an F-35C (larger wings, US Navy Variant) to add to the pack.
  3. I've got a new warship coming... trying to experiment with spaced double hulls, since AP rounds would (hopefully) get lodged in the outer hull-space, not in the real internals of the ship.
  4. I made a Munar VTOL dropship, designed to drop-in, grab some ore, and fly off. My engineer seems to like it.

  9. They'll go quite fast... but will likely just vaporize on contact with any serious high-impact armor. However, decoupler rounds ought to be able to take out unarmored targets and/or aircraft.
  10. Maybe, but stack separators really have no penetration. I prefer 1x1 steel plates, or similarly-sized high-impact parts.
  11. I can help with some aeroshelled landers/modules for the base, and perhaps make a dedicated vehicle for the colonists, separate from the main cargo haulers.
  12. Fighter jets/spaceplanes are actually pretty neat with 1.0: reaches just over Mach 1 (at low altitudes) in under 2 minutes after takeoff (at full throttle), and maneuvers like a champ. It also takes off really quick, using thrust vectoring to blast off like a rocket once it's even just started to pitch up. Now, I just need to arm it...
  13. I'd attempt to reload the save, but if that doesn't work, I'd try and intercept the station using some sort of rescue vehicle.

  15. I've already PMed HatBat with the up-to-date DL info for these craft... The MU SX-13 Lancer, a small yet tough assault frigate. The MU SX-3 Ingressor MK3, a mini-battlecruiser/pocket destroyer armed to the teeth with anti-capital ship weapons. And last but not least, the SX-00 Spectre reconnaissance corvette. (The Helios is an SX-00 donated to HKA).
  16. I'm not sure how, but all of my warships I've tested so far (I generally keep engines as far apart as reasonably possible to avoid cluster-heating issues) have had no heating issues, even at 100% throttle.

  19. I think the LF-only nukes are an easy fix (IMO): just empty the existing oxidizer in your ships, that way avoiding having the re-build their internals.

  21. I think this battle (especially with the advent of 1.0) is fairly dead. Also, even if it does work out, each person only moves one tank per turn, and attacks only one other tank per turn.
  22. For the LV-N issue, the fix is easy: just fill the tanks with only LF!
  23. Wonderful! I'll prep my ships, since I know which ones will survive 1.0. Also, LV-Ns are now pure LF-fueled.
