  1. 1/2 luck that I happened to check the forums when I did, 1/2 the design of the Sabre lends itself to a replica somewhat well. That, and the fact that as you build more, you get MUCH faster.
  2. Boom: MU SSY-0001 Tonfa. A shuttle-type Sabre replica. Unarmed as of now, but it can fly manned or unmanned, and the craft comes with a small lifter stage, which can be easily upgraded or replaced. Album: //Action Groups:// 1-RAPIER engines (used for aesthetics more than function) 2-LV-909 engines DL Link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/kfl0ddlu8xhjxb5/SSY-0001%20Tonfa-Class%20Starfighter.craft?dl=0 P.S.: It's not meant for atmospheric flight (like a plane), but feel free to modify it to be able to do so.
  3. I'm referencing stock, which is what Spartwo uses if I'm not mistaken.
  4. I'd recommend not having a flat front wing-edge on the craft, as the increased drag can slow down the craft heavily and lead to unbalanced flight.
  5. Cool! Does it need SSTO capability, or can it be pure shuttle/starfighter?
  6. Even though it's meant as a replica of the Constellation lander proposal, this really heavily reminds me of my old MT-12 LV-N powered VTOL cargo shuttle. Man, I need to make some MT-series VTOLs again...
  7. Better late than never to the tank party:
  8. Aye aye, cap'n! The fleet stands ready... I've got some cool stuff I'll be submitting today or tomorrow.
  9. After doing some more digging through the piles of craft files saved on my HDD, I found one of several craft from back when I started participating in KSP ship combat! This one, the Hawking-class Battlecruiser, was my first proper capital ship. At the time, it's hull was actually pretty decent. I think I might have to refit this one for nostalgia's sake...
  10. Nah, it's really just my way of saying that since I haven't re-visited my KSP military ship lineup in a long time, that I'm going to give 'em all a good-once over, culling/replacing designs that are redundant and upgrading the rest. Also, I'm not too upset about the delays with KS S2, since most awesome things take time to pan out.
  11. So, how about that shout-out on the official KSP Twitter? In any case, I've got something in the works to submit for the new year.
  12. WIP Air Superiority Fighter/SSTO testbed. I'm hoping I can adapt the overall airframe into an SSTO platform, since I really need an ultra-efficient one for my last grand tour mission before 1.0 hits.
  13. I tried landing a heavy VTOL lander on the VAB... .. it wasn't me, I swear! I also dusted off an old super-heavy lifter design...
  14. If you're interested in any new craft, HatBat, I've got some new ones on my company thread. If you want, I can PM you a sampler, to see if you like 'em.
  15. Just completed my third new warship, the MSS-3 Paladin. Carries two, has LV-N propulsion and can carry a ton of firepower. More info and DL in my company thread. I can't wait to make the MSS line complete!
  16. I just completed a new warship, and the first out of my new "MSS" line that is combat-ready (the first one being a scout drone, and the second having an uber-high part count). Quoted from my company thread:
  17. I just finished another new ship, the MSS-3 Paladin. It's definitely more usable than my previous 900-or-so part ship, while sporting a sleek, well-armored hull, and a good set of weapons. Also, while digging through some old files the other day, I found this: It's too bad KSP's not too good with high partcount ships, as that'd be quite formidable.
  18. Glad to see you back! This looks quite good, I'm looking forward to more.
  19. So, with some experience from the Puma, and the inspiration from the old trailers for Homeworld: Shipbreakers, I've made an armored assault vehicle similar to the LMI ones shown in the vids. I call my design the Grizzly ISV. And, while on the topic of craft inspired by HW:S, here's a flying-wing scoutcraft.
  20. Thanks! Sorry for bringing it up, but I'm curious to see how it turns out.
  21. I'm not trying to sound rude, but I couldn't help but notice that my request was ignored.
  22. The Excalibur, my first working (LV-N/TJ) SSTO in quite a while... Also, I think I broke my all-time 'air breathing-flight-only' SSTO speed record...
  23. The Puma All Terrain Support Vehicle (ATSV):
  24. I've got a new idea for a sort of standardized 4x4-type rover, with the base model being this: The Puma seats four (with doors), has a rear truck-bed type storage area, and can be easily modified. I'm hoping I can turn this into a series, with military, scientific, and resource-extraction variants. More pics:
