  1. His ships all have 2 or more armor layers, AND higher-part-count weapons, so it all contributes to a massive final total.
  2. This might be a tad bit of a challenge, but could you by chance improve on this?: I was trying to make it seem like the ship was on approach to Laythe using its ion drives.
  3. The action groups menu (where you assign hotkeys for functional components of your craft) is always at the top left of the editor screen, inbetween the build mode button and crew roster button. Hope this helped.
  4. You might have summoned a gyro-kraken. Large ships are especially prone to getting attacked in .90, as I have found from trying to test my SX-11 prototype, which kept having issues with exhaust deflection... ugh. In any case, that XXX of yours definitely has intimidation on its side!
  5. So, now that I have a "Heavy" Frigate for my new fleet lineup, I need a normal Frigate to accompany it... Mmm, yes.. this will do. The SX-13 clocks in at 390 parts and 61.2 tons (with a full ammo load). It can carry 1-2 1.25 meter missiles (maybe 3 of Zeke's new one, I dunno ), and has 2 outer hull mounts for smaller i-beam missiles and other light weapons.

  7. Hmmm... now does this mini version use tiny missiles or a small MAC? That does look good though; you could probably use it (if it works) as a swarm frigate.
  8. I need to double-check on the stats (I got the pics in a hurry, as I had to make some dinner). Are you referring to the Duna battle? If so, I might be able to. Still need to make sure that my fleet works. (The SX-11 and 12 models of MU warship are extremely glitchy post-update, but the other work fine.) That's why I'm overhauling my fleet, so that the improvements in hull design from the SX-11 and SX-12 get integrated into functional, non-glitchy, effective .90 warships. EDIT: I did just double-check, and the SX-15 clocks in at 615 parts (with a full ammo load), and 99.0 tons. Not bad for a Heavy Frigate. (Then again, I overbuild. )
  9. Yes! I finally got one of my new designs done, and it works as intended. Meet the almost-ready-for-download MU SX-15! This ship will feature ion-engine backup propulsion, and also is equipped with up to 4 1.25 meter missiles and 4 i-beam missiles. (The missile being fired in the pics is an all-new MU next-gen. ASM, designed with guidance systems and a strong armor piercing tip.)
  10. Sorry if it seems I've gone dark- I've just been really darn busy IRL. I think I might need to skip the Duna battle for now (as some testing has revealed my fleet could use an overhaul). However, this means my fleet has an entire new lineup coming...
  11. Just finished initial construction of a nice 'lil SSTO fighter... The inaugural test flight went well, so hopefully it'll function just as well with some stock air-to-air missiles and a completed RCS/docking setup.
  12. Merry Christmas, ya'll. I've been working on my new ships, but also making a few combat-grade SSTOs and aircraft to refine my skills with the .90 editor tools. Hopefully my new Heavy Destroyer, Dreadnought(s), and other in-vacuum-combat ships are done by New Year's!

  15. I've got a few craft in the works, but I just finished a ridiculously agile (and tiny) .90 interceptor/ground attack jet... I think I'm gonna call it the MUPanther, and I'll have it posted once I arm it with something other than twin i-beam rockets (which were mounted as an accuracy test).
  16. Looks nice, I hope it flies well. Almost anything uniquely-shaped I try to make fly in-atmosphere post-0.90 is pretty darn unstable.

  21. So, while the pic from earlier is the ultimate goal for my KSP military ship development, I have been working on a Heavy Destroyer that will act as my first true supercap-type ship. In all likelihood, it'll be finished tomorrow. I hope... EDIT: The shadow is of the ship without an outer hull. It's final shape may likely be semi-rectangular.
  22. So... I've started working on some proper dreadnought-type craft... This is an un-armored proof of concept using the new gizmos. Expect a proper, combat-ready fleet very, very soon.
