I would prefer to choose zombies. The brain eating, easy to topple over and destroy with shovels, rising from graves, non-infectious, weaker & slower than grandma kind. Because it wouldn't really be an apocalypse when you topple over and destroy all the zombies, and you wouldn't really panic when you have medicine to fight regular infections that attack through zombie bites (Not zombie infections, mind you)
