Banned for spending the entire space program budget on MOAR BOOSTERS

Asteroid spawning should be reduced...
Tery215 replied to Clockwork13's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
The solar system's asteroid belt is actually consumed by Dres. The random appearance of asteroids is mysterious, yes. Also, Kerbin is significantly larger than the asteroids. -
I use my (1-way) portal shotgun and it sends you into an inescapable cave of suffering. The cave itself is completely portalproof. My mountain.

Granted. The trees destroy all civilization by ending global warming. I wish I was a pair of boots.

Asteroid spawning should be reduced...
Tery215 replied to Clockwork13's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I don't see a problem with this. Currently existing asteroids are rather difficult to do anything with. Grabbing a dozen is extremely difficult, but still possible and considerably more entertaining. Just don't get addicted to finding asteroids please. -
I really do fear the weird crazy land near the Mün's north pole. It's like a mouth, ready to eat me.

It could work with space scaling. For instance, a spacecraft can enter the "X Zone", a place dominated by [insert celestial body]. Inside this zone, space is 4 times bigger and it takes 4 times longer to reach the other side than otherwise. Though this would be extremely difficult to render and would make no sense. Possibly a click -> change map view to "X Zone" and a map switch whenever currently controlled/observed spacecraft enters the "X Zone". Plus a mysterious intangible black/green/white/red shell surrounding the "X Zone".

Limited Remote Control
Tery215 replied to Daddy Cecil's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
In theory, KSP probe cores could function independently as they have the very same thing that controls them as Kerbals do. Except they require constant electricity to function. What benefit is this? Making interplanetary spacecraft heavier? -
If you AFK hard enough, you can shift an asteroid's orbit using an(millions of) ion engine(s) ~0.8 years before it encounters Kerbin. Then it will probbs aerobrake easily or float near kerbin long enough such that you can do another burn to capture it.

Granted. They wish for a rocket engine that generated reaction mass. I wish for a rocket engine that generated reaction mass.

1. NO 2. 0 3. Blackberry 4. I touch my cell phone about once every month. Even then, I can't figure out how to calibrate it or whatever cell phones do. And the only reason I touch it is to keep it away from my computer, my bedroom, and everything I hold dear. 5. Completely Disagree

Granted. The tugboats you got still weren't enough. I wish my seltzer-water lemon-flavoured beverage aquired a better taste.

Exploding Kerbals
Tery215 replied to Silverware's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
It depends on the velocity. If you're, like, slamming into tylo at > 3500 m/s then Squad should make kerbals (or anything) actually explode (in that situation) -
If you get bored of them, then you can turn them into decorative rocks or trophies that crushed the KSC (And the Kerbal's dreams)
-
Granted. However, it is only by drinking a magic potion whose effects last only 8 seconds in total. And the potion decays into extremely toxic compounds within 32 seconds. I wish souls existed in every energy string.
-
Granted. A charizard blasts fire rays or whatever at all the trainers. They "faint" and turn to ashes. I wish pocket monsters were tiny.

Spaceplane aerodynamics on other planets
Tery215 replied to tstehler1's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I do believe the magic wing ratio is unachievable on Duna. -
I hope to get a better action group listing system than this. Maybe enter an integer to get action groups, and a list of action groups excluding unused ones.

I kick the flag off, while your Kerbal Hill Program gasps in terror of my presence on the hill. The hill is now my hill by a robotic statue with a flag planted.
-
Granted. All of the Dogecoins are whining at you, begging to be walked outside. I wish every romantic language combined to bring back the Roman Empire.
-
Granted. A Pier falls from the sky and leaves you with a burned up pier on your roof. There's a note on it saying "h ;; - o z peior;. - Zih g c d" (What did you expect, a note NOT undecipherable?) I wish grunting was an universal language.

Hm. Maybe you could launch miniature tracking dishes to detect "their own" asteroids. Such that, if you landed it in Jool (somehow), you would be able to detect the same amounts of asteroids as you would at Kerbin. But when they overlap, obviously, asteroids in the overlapping region won't be extremely common.

What I mean is that parts such as rocket engines get heavier, less efficient (heavier is already less efficient), and parts such as thermometers get less accurate scientific results, subtracting transmit and recovery points (but not total obtainable points). These parts would also be more susceptible to overheating or breaking. The opposite would happen when you upgrade the parts, also it increases transmit value in science parts. No, I don't think having things 1/5th as good as they are now when starting career is a good idea at all.

I show you that your combustible lemons were actually combustible limes. You go bankrupt and I knock you into a deepbt (combined deep with debt) cave along the side of the hill, where you meet Gollum. (Gollum.) My hill.
