  1. I saw Moonraker as a kid and loved it, of course, but only managed to see it once more before forgetting about it. And I forgot all about that scene, that was hilarious. Thanks for that!
  2. Oh, well, one of my favorite games songs is from the Gran Turismo 2 soundtrack way back on the PS1...
  3. Nuke to all the things: checkmate! (Or is that a stalemate?)
  4. As I said earlier, I haven't done Eve lately, but IIRC after the 1.0 aero-and-heat revamp, I heard that the dV required dropped to around 8-9 km/s. I'm not sure where you got 6km/s from, if you were building your own copy, did you set up the asparagus and staging properly? And the intakes are supposedly one of the lower-drag parts out there, or so I've heard (again, I haven't played with them).
  5. Nobody has replied to the my last post in a week....
  6. I kinda thought you were pulling a Honeycutt.... http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x587s4w (oddly, the video appears to be mirrored)
  7. I really have to get around to doing an Eve ascent mission, as I haven't done that since 0.24 or so. Some good reminders and tips in this thread. But if you really want to do it with a spaceplane...
  8. (I could make it about 1.4.2, but that's the reeeaally low-hanging fruit)
  9. Well, it could be used as a relay in the interim, until they decide to dock more stuff to it. Forward thinking and all that.
  10. I don't think there's a recent Tesla thread, and this is the closest to a Musk thread, and bearing on what I just quoted...
  11. Left index finger to nostril. (You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose!)
  12. well, for the long run it would make sense to have things in semi-mass-production instead of one-off custom jobs, just like the multiple MER's, and how the next Mars rover is based on MSL.
  13. There are plenty of trolley bus routes in Vancouver. The poles are springloaded to keep the grooved shoe on the wire. The trolley buses in Vancouver, at least, have a small amount of battery power so they can drive out of intersections and pull over before the driver has to reseat the poles, or drive past sections where the wires are under repair.
  14. "All the things are belong to us!" installs every mod known to kerbalkind.
  15. Beavis and Butthead to Megadeath concert
  16. That was totally epic, like wow. I wish I could give that more than one like.... As for in person, I was there when they imploded the the Georgia Medical-Dental building in Vancouver, back in '89: And for KSP, well, my "HIghway To Hell" video (link in sig) for the "Destroy KSC" challenge was more like a series of smaller explosions. But my favorite would be... I really wish they would try to get a product placement of KSP on The Big Bang Theory. How about it, @Darth Badie?
  17. Well then, you better go through this youtube page and make sure you didn't miss any others...
  18. I have "Doodmore" in my current. He's more Dood mon than Doodemon! Need more Doods...
  19. @silverfox101 I should add that they appear to load pre-compressed, and then release the compression when loaded. Or so I've heard, since I haven't bothered with 1.4.x yet.
  20. It's been reported there's an issue with the suspensions in wheels, landing gear, and landing legs
  21. I swear, the way some bugs keep coming back (e.g landed ships bouncing/exploding on load in 1.3.1) it's like they're updating older versions. Or somehow the fix code gets somehow ignored/bypassed when they make an update
