  1. I'm so used to the old one by now, I have to vote on it (the current blue earth is a pretty good logo, tho!) The martian one... he looks like he is fishing!
  2. Heh, I went the ballistic-missile route, dropped right on top of that sucker It helps if you rotate the rocket on the VAB, so you just have to pitch down. A (healthy) bit of trial-and-error on the TWR and initial pitch is needed, but nothing crazy.
  3. Wow, lots of mods here I didn't know you maintained, some I didn't even know about! (Maneuver Queue? Where can I get myself some of that?) Anyway, here's my 2 cents: - CorrectCOL - RCS Build Aid - Navball Docking Alignment Indicator CE-2 These are the ones I really care about, but since you said 3-4, here's a bonus one (I wasn't aware you were taking care of the Quick* family!): - QuickStart Thanks again for doing this. I might be able to go back to supporting you soon, if all goes well
  4. Some content was edited and/or removed. Remember to be nice to each other, and not use insulting language.
  5. Not that I know of, but maybe this mod can help you: Also, thread moved to Gameplay Questions and Tutorials. Welcome!
  6. Threads on same subject merged. F
  7. So, I'm changing jobs again, stuff is chaotic, I don't know when I'll be able to try out 1.4 or Making History :( Also I just found out I'm a few months after the cut-out, I could have sworn I was within it!

Oh, well, will probably be worth the purchase.

    1. Urses

      Urses

you are a KSP Crazy one...do it realy changes something if you buy the DLC?:D

      Good luck in new job!

  8. Moved to Unmodded installs at request from OP, since it affects unmodded saves as well.
  9. I do use mods, but they've grown fewer and fewer, and I don't think I need them anymore... well, Alarm Clock is the one I really rely on, but it updates fairly quickly. I can do without KER, and the only mod that blows my ships ifI uninstall is RPM because of the cameras, but I haven't used them in so long I can just remove them from the ships that have it. So, I guess i'll be trying 1.4 as soon as it comes out
  10. I don't know, but to me "Updates" isn't the same as "All new content". There is an update being shipped, 1.4, and you will get that for free. The DLC will feature a new mode of play and historical parts. Tho, if you ask me, the line separating what should be "DLC" and what should be "update" is more than a bit fuzzy, and I wouldn't mind seeing those new parts on the stock game, myself.
  11. Hello, fresh meat! It is interesting, yes, I hope you learn a thing or two!
  12. Found it! It was this mod: It adds sparks and collision noises, and makes Kerbals go "Ooomph!" when they fall down. You can go into the mod's directory and change the sound, so, naturally, somewhere on the thread someone uploaded a rubber duck... @Brainlord Mesomorph I know you were asking for stock implementations, but I believe this mod covers an item on your list
  13. Yeah, I'd never seen it before, and - holy crap it puts my location all over the country too!
  14. I think you mean the Thermal engines here? Also, thread moved to Add-On Discussions
  15. hahahaha holy crap, why don't more Jedi do this?
  16. I had noticed the thread as it came up... was thinking of a sarcastic answer to it, but your explanation is better Locking as requested by OP
  17. Hello! We ask that posts in the main forum be in English. I've translated your question with Google. You can chat in German in the international sub-forum!
  18. Yes, proper sound effects add so much immersion. Wasn't there a sound Kerbals made, tho? I remember some mod changing it to a rubber-duck "Squee!", that was hilarious.
  19. Another thing, always have a probe/command pod/docking port near the station's CoM you where can "control from here". Having the station's control point be near an extremity makes it feel a lot more vibrations, and compensate in incorrect ways throughout the station.
  20. That's funny and all, but it's already nearly a whole page of off-topic, shall we go back to Making History?
