  1. So, this is your public goodbye... It was a good run. Nice to know you'll be spending your remaining days this side of the pond, my couch will be closer by than I previously thought. Have good journeys!
  2. So, it's kinda like a Truck-a-saurus meets the Thundertank?
  3. Whoa, I remember your old username. Back from a lurk, eh?

I've been mostly lurking for a long while. Been meaning to unlurk for almost as long, but... life happened, I suppose?

What was your previous avatar? I remember the name but not it. Something blue?

Yep, it was a picture of a rocket I launched. Apparently it was saved on another computer and I can't find it. There's a video of one of its launches here though:

  4. What is this about? I only see a link to an old blog with no updates in the last two years, and no explosions. You sure you posted the right link?
  5. Yo, ho, ho, and a bottle of rum!
  6. Well, since we're hyping: The upload is from 9 years ago, but I think I the art is from some time earlier. I remember I worked some more on it, and was in the way of adding the two Aces of Spades flying around Bill and a starfield on the background, but I never finished it. @NSEP Heh, yeah, I've been on DeviantArt for ages. My account there is abandoned, tho, I don't really feel like adding to it (tho I might share some pearls I dig up, here).
  7. Man, this new trailer. There's the rotting house. There's the Standpipe. There's the friggin' Kitchener Ironworks. And then, this: (from IMDB) My eyes water. My cousin gave me the best comment about this new movie: "Let's wait and see Stephen King's opinion on it. If he thinks it's trash, then it's good."
  8. On the first part: really? I find it very narmy. I read the book when I was 15, watched the movie soon after, and was so disappointed. The book seriously chilled me out. The 2017 trailer, on the other hand, is spot-on for me. Hints of all the bad things that happen in the book and were omitted from the adaptation. Seriously, the part where Henry Bowers puts Ben to the fence above the Barrens? When I was watching Stranger Things I was so sure someone was going to get seriously hurt in the quarry because it was such a clear shout-out to this scene. On the second part... well, yeah Tim Curry manages to save the day. He's an awesome evil clown. I do not know this new actor, tho, so I will not put him down before I watch it (and, oh boy, do I want to). If he pulls a Hayden Christensen, however... I'm very hyped about this movie. Haven't been like this for a while. Alien Covenant, Blade Runner 2? Pfff, please, Scott lost his marbles. Sadly
  9. No, you don't. Read again his reply, he clearly points to a mod that does exactly this. Stop being hostile, people are trying to help. Let's go over this again: You said you want the heading of the ship: it's already there on the navball, as it's been pointed out. If you want it somewhere else on the screen, KER has got your back, and it also has for ship pitch. You also said you want the heading and elevation of the target relative to the ship: again, KER has got your back. You also said you want to be able to target a part of terrain, and show heading and elevation of that relative to the ship; Waypoint Manager has got you covered, as it's been pointed out. You also want "the heading and elevation of the mouse cursor". This doesn't exist, I'm sorry, it's just not a thing. The mouse cursor is an object on the screen, not the 3D world. You can have a direction projected from the game camera, but unless you're in IVA, that information has no relation to the ship's position, and zero use for navigating. If you already know of all these and they still don't do what you want, then please, can you explain better what you really want? "Just two numbers" is not an answer, we've given you plenty of numbers already.
  10. Kerbin's sidereal day is around .09s shorter than 6 hours, you have to synchronize to that Also, using KER, just synchronize the period and forget about the altitude (well, just keep it roughly circular). You can later circularize it perfectly by burning radial in/out when the probe crosses the average altitude to cancel it's vertical speed, and the period is unaffected.
  11. Oh, I grow my scallion, parsley, basil, and, the latest addition to the family, grape tomato. It's still small, but so far is enough for one or two salads a week for both me and my wife By next year we'll have moved into a house we're going to build in a family's land plot, there I'll have real space to grow stuff; so far I'm thinking more tomatoes, lettuce and rocket, maybe kale. Similar weather here, 1000m ASL. The tomato is quite fond of it, it seems. Too bad bugs love it
  12. Hey, everyone.

I know BDArmory and Vessel Mover are beloved mods, but unfortunately Bahamuto has been away, as explained here:

So, please, stop filling his profile page with requests for updates. Others have picked up where he left, and if you search for BDArmory Continued, you'll find this:

Any chance some of the source code for the old mods if floating around. It would be great to finish the MARS DRA 5.0 parts of Constellation essentials.

  13. Esquenta não, é só pra dar sabor. Garçom, há uma operação de colonização na minha sopa
  14. We're always okay with it if the content is still relevant
  15. The one on the foreground looks angry! I have another abandoned illustration gallery, but this one is at least more recent. Nowadays, the most I'll draw is this: Some thoughts on an algorithm for semi-spherical semi-Voronoi diagrams based on a halfedge mesh structure, some rocketry equations, a relationship graph between rocketry-related variables (TWR, dV, Veff, etc), work stuff... and doodles!
  16. Are there? I can't think of any. However, I've more than once attempted to hit backspace to re-center the flight camera, because of habit, with disastrous results, so I agree it was detrimental.
  17. Oh, but the experience with crewed IVA is still awesome
  18. More modders, yay! Welcome to the forums.
  19. There is a mod called "Quick View" by @Malah that can be set to disable outside-the-craft view, but only for craft that have IVA. Another mod called "Probe Control Room" created a sort of IVA for probes, and when used together they did exactly what I believe you want... except that Probe Control Room hasn't worked for a while And if you're using Quick View, do use Raster Prop Monitor together with it Oh, addendum: You need RPM for the cameras, quick view only disables the external cam. The cameras are parts you place on the ship, they don't switch automatically but you can set different IDs and cycle them on the monitor. Probe Control Room also used RPM to make its interface with the probe.
