This forum game is from another forum. (The original forum shall rename nameless.) Unless you private message me.) The forum game goes like this: The first person says what they insert, then the next person says what they get, then they post what they insert. And it goes on. Example: Guy 1: Inserts ("thing") Guy 2: Gets ("thing" related to first "thing") Inserts ("thing") RULE 1: "thing" can be anything approving to forum rules RULE 2:The "Gets" part must relate to "Inserts" RULE 3:No double posting RULE 4:If someone beats your post, edit your post and say Ninja'd next to the "Thing" I will go first, Inserts coin

The title says it all. This is like the "You Know You Play Too Much KSP When" thread. What makes you a nerd? I'll start with: You know you're a nerd when you learn to count in binary on your fingers because it's way more practical than the "standard" system.

What is this? This is a game where forum users work together to create an outrageously long variation of the popular song "The Twelve Days of Christmas". End goal The last post of this game should contain an entire community-made song for all to enjoy. Rules and guidelines: -Each new reply adds the next highest day to the song (1st day, then 2nd, then 3rd, and so on) -Each added lyric should generally follow the rhythm of the original song (an entire Wikipedia article is a good example of what not to do) -No lyric has to relate to Christmas or any other user-created lyric. Be as creative as you want! -There is no limit to how many days can be in the song -Profanity, racial slurs, insults, and other inappropriate language and behavior IS NOT permitted. All official KSP community restrictions apply. An example of how this might look: Wpetula: on the 1st day of Christmas Jebediah gave to me... ...a rocket made out of pear trees. JadeOfMaar: on the 2nd day of Christmas Jebediah gave to me... ...two broken spaceplanes, and a rocket made out of pear trees. Gameslinx: on the 3rd day of Christmas Jebediah gave to me... ...three modders modding, two broken spaceplanes, and a rocket made out of pear trees. (ETC.) I'll start: On the first day of Christmas Jebediah gave to me, a rocket made out of pear trees.

Just like every variant out there of Atlas the Geography game. Rules: 1. Must be a County, City, State, Country or Continent on Earth and Earth only. 2. Your play must be based off of the final letter of the preceding location. Detroit = T. South Korea = A. Democratic Republic of the Congo = O. An exception exists, please see rule 9. 3. Your chosen geographical location MUST be clearly named. 4. Coordinates may be used to identify the locations position on Earth as a proof of its existence if said location is not well known. 5. Your target location may not be vague, ie America or Europe. With America the following play has 0 idea if you mean North, Central, South, or the USA. With Europe while it IS a continent, for purposes of this iteration it is considered vague. One cannot know if you mean the continent or if you mean it as if saying “I’m going to Europe for the summer.” 6. So long as there exists verifiable historical record of its existence you may play ancient locations. Proper proof will be required. A historical text citing or wikipedia entry will suffice. I suggest but do not require proofs be in spoilers for a more clean look. 7. Duplication of locations are fine if no other option can be found. 8. If 24 hours pass with no play on an entry, you may play again if desired. 9. If coordinates are used for proof and the name comes up as (example only not a play, yet) Kanaga Island, but the play looks like: Kanaga <pretend this is a spoiler box: 51.74630°N, 177,34172°> and you see it come up as Kanaga Island, then you may choose to play off of Island or off of Kanaga. I give this as an example to avoid the tribulations that could arise. Islands are plentiful on Earth and constantly using the word Island could prove repetitive, and only in the type of instance listed in THIS rule can rule 2 be mildly subverted. This however ceases to be the case if you do deliberately choose to use an islands FULL name as your play, using our example: Kanaga Island instead of just using Kanaga. If Island is included in the original play then the D of Island is the subsequent start of the next play. I know this one rule looks and sounds convoluted and it frankly is, but, ive seen what happens when its not clearly laid out and I wish to avoid that for the health of this game. I will start us off: Democratic Republic of the Congo 023808012024 024308012024 021208222024

Infinity War (make your own army!!!)
KerbolRacer21 posted a topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
Make your own army, create a name, their cause, and the weapons that they use!! Army No. 1: Called the Guerilla Spaghetti & Lasagna Force! They fight against the in-humane ban of these yummy foods!!! They use radioactive pasta clusters, Kerbal catapults, and plates of pasta! -
Hello, once again (this is getting too frequent), I really cannot figure this one out with my used-up brainpower (College takes its toll, especially with the ungodly amount of snowfall today in Vancouver.) My game has quite splendidly decided to kick the bucket everytime I enter the Sphere of Influence of any Celestial body besides Earth. And when I say my game has frozen, It freezes the computer too. Windows stops working, the computer becomes unresponsive, starts to sound like a jet engine and worst of all, there are no .log files made, and no matter how long I wait, the game doesn't respond. My game is version 1.6.1 and is modded, extremely modded including (here we go): Airplane Plus, Grounded, Near Future (Solar, Propulsion, Electronics, Aeronautics and Others), Kerbal Engines, Ferrum Aerospace Research, DPAI, Oh Scrap!, KIS, KAS, NAS, BDAc, KJR, Feline Utility Rovers, Firespitter, OPT, TAC Life Support, Kerbal Atomics, Dock Rotate, Aviator Arsenal, Hangar Extender, HullCamera VDS, JSI, Kerbal Engineer Redux, Kerbal Changelog, Kerbal Launch Failure, Kerbtrotter Ltd, Modular Flight Integrator, Persistent Rotation, Physics Range Extender, Planetary Base Inc, Reentry Particle Effect, REPO Soft Tech, Restock and Restock Plus, Smokescreen, Space-Y (Expanded and Lifters), Tweakscale, Vessel Mover, Deployable Engines, B9 Procedural Wings, B9 Part Switch, ASET, Persistent Rotation and Chatterer. I use Module Manager 4.1.0 and KSPModFileLocalizer. Yes, that is my mod list, and no, I'm not joking. (some mod dependencies are not listed here, but they are all there, I guarantee.) I think this is an issue caused by a mod being incompatible with other mods or just messing up the game for me. It might be one of the Near Future Mods (Nertea, sorry if I misspelled that but, I'm a huge fan of your mods.) but, i'm not so sure. It may also be one of the others. Please help, I built a rover and sent it to Duna, no quicksaves (challenge) and the game promptly crashed after I left Kerbin, there was much raging today. Thank you, any and all help is greatly appreciated.

In this game your objective is to improve the rocket prior to you! (Heavy inspiration from @AlamoVampire) To improve a rocket and you can use anyone of the methods below! Methods Method 1. You can post a rocket that is its next evolution. (Atlas 2 gets followed by Atlas 3A and so on) Method 2. If it uses technology used by another rocket (RS-68 for Ares V followed by Delta 4) Method 3. It looks similar ( H1 Followed by Delta II) To make sure the fun and games can continue smoothly we have to follow the rules below. Rules Rule 1. Fictional rockets are allowed to an extent (Things like FAM is allowed but things like Interstellar is not) Rule 2. You must wait 10 minutes since the last rocket you posted Rule 3. Follow the forums rules. Rule 4. Only one rocket per post. Rule 5. No spacecraft this is about rockets! Now I guess I will start us off with the first rocket to reach space the V2!

This game is where you one up the aircraft prior to you. This game was inspired by @ColdJ How do you one up? Anyway you want! It can be as simple as say the aircraft before your post is a 1 engine cessna 182 Skylane and you one up it by posting a twin engine cessna 310R (a propellor cessna) or use a jet if you prefer. You could one up by engine type or by model. By model? Post prior is say a 737-600 you could put a 737-700 then the next player puts a 737-800. You can use any aspect of any real world aircraft to one up the one prior. Your imagination is your limit within real world aircraft. One aircraft per player per post. You may post a one up of yours if a minimum of 10 minutes has gone by since your last post. As for the aircraft, you are encouraged to use pictures if at all possible. You are required to state the aircraft type in either a text only submission or in conjunction with a picture. Your aircraft type call out can be as simple as my 737 examples. All aircraft must be real world aircraft. Standard forum rules apply as well. I will start us off with the first ever powered flight aircraft the Wright Flyer. 133609212023 133809212023 231309302023

I've played KSP 2 when it came out for about 65 hours and then I skipped all the patches until now. I tried out 0.1.4 now after ~5 months and I have to say that my impression is very, very good. The game is in a very good state right now. I really don't agree with the people complaining and hating - the number of bugs is small and I have not encountered any major problems (except for the parts symmetry issue, which I think is a regression). Here's my feedback (for now): Positive feedback: The UI is in a much better state. I love the Parts Manager speed. Performance is great compared to how it was at launch. Revert to launch and to VAB buttons are working now! The left side menu (the one when you press ESC) works as expected (it was ultra buggy). Working with the maneuver nodes feels good. I did not experience orbital drift around the Mun or Kerbin. The NavBall dark colors are nice on the eyes. Bugs and mini-suggestions: In VAB the translate tool for mirror symmetry orientation is not respected (if I move a battery, solar panel or wheel up the other one goes down) because one part is flipped when placed (it's upside down). (not a bug, sorry, I was in 2 x symmetry mode) Notification keep popping up (lack of solar) and it's annoying. Map view UI is still very pixelated. Limit celestial body zoom-in in Map View / Tracking Station so the camera does not enter the planet. Allow the usage of Space-bar key to pause / resume tutorial video. Right click hit-box is not accurate in Tracking Station for some celestial bodies. Sometimes I have to click multiple times on the Parts Manager "x" to close the window. A loud sound sometimes plays in my right speaker when clicking in the Part-picker in VAB. In VAB when right clicking somewhere to exit the 2D vehicle viewer there is no fade out effect. In the Parts Manager please group parts that have been placed by symmetry (like identical solar panels or batteries) so the list is more compact. If I want to import a vehicle in my current workspace then save it here, I can't see where to select the name of my current workspace file (the other one shows up by default). Wheel collision mesh is still very basic (center of the wheel). I can't create a maneuver node when in atmosphere and game is paused. Please allow me to move the AP / PE node info mini windows by dragging them. When focused on another celestial body I can't time warp to a point inside its influence sphere(from outside). Please increase the right-mouse-button pan speed when looking around the vehicle. If I deactivate an engine I get a "out of fuel" error when trying to create a maneuver plan. I need to be able to press >>> (warp to maneuver) again to go down to 5 seconds from 30 (so I don't have to wait so long). Right now I get the "proximity to celestial body" alarm (which needs its text changed). I will continue to play the game and experiment with the parts. I feel it's really fun to play now. I can't wait for the water / heat / terrain updates. With those in place we're off to the races for Science mode. Great job development team - I'm really proud of you guys and girls!

So, after some time i decided to pick up an old 1.7.0 install and decided to install some mods: - Airplane Plus (With Firespitter included) - KAS - Hyperedit - Near Future (Solar and Launch Vehicles) - Outer Planets Mod (With Kopernicus as it´s dependency) - RLA Reborn - Probes Before Crew (With Community Tech Tree as it´s dependency) - Hide Empty Tech Tree Nodes (Recommended for PBC) - Science Relay - Station Parts Extension Redux - Through the Eyes of a Kerbal - Kerbal Alarm Clock - Vessel Mover Some other mods: - B9 Part Switch (2 versions, for Near Future Solar Vehicles and Station Parts Extension Redux ) - Near Future Props But since then, i've been experiencing lots of crashes, probaly the results of RAM usage spikes during gameplay. I went into this forum and saw the suggestion to use the -force-opengl command. But everytime i use this command (and the -force-glcore one) the game immediately crashes when i start it. Any solutions? You get a million dollars but for the rest of your life at random, you are suddenly teleported to a random time period. For example, you are ordering a coffee at a Starbucks and suddenly *POOF* you get teleported to Berlin in 1945 just before the Soviets capture it. Although after a certain amount of time you do get teleported back to where you came and you don't affect history. Would you take it?

Hi all, has any of you heard about or played OpenTTD? It's an open source version of Transport Tycoon Deluxe and is free. So has anyone played it?
