Supernovy
And what does rep do?The more rep you have, the more rep you give out each time you rep something.
Starwhip
The more rep you have, the more rep you give out each time you rep something.Reputation powerYour reputation power can be found with this formula:Where s equals the days since your registration, t equals the amount of posts you have and u equals your own reputation. The maximum reputation power is 5. Every time you give another user reputation their reputation is increased by the amount of your reputation power. For example: user A has a reputation of 8 and user B has a reputation power of 3. Once user B compliments user A for a post, user A's new reputation level will be 11.http://i.imgur.com/xetWhap.jpg

I am a moderator. Yep. Definitely. Just walk on by. Vanamonde
Can you delete a thread you started?Only as long as no one else has posted in it. After that, it wouldn't be fair to others to delete their posts. As OP, though, you can ask for your own thread to be closed.

Claw
Have you ever, found threads that just amused you due to people's antics on it? Any favorites?Yes, there are a few. Usually the ones where people are actually having fun, such as the GIC thread. I also enjoy seeing other people's designs and lately have been getting into the "mission reports" threads. Though I suppose those aren't "antics."Also, there are the occasional troll posts that can be semi funny, though I suppose we aren't supposed to admit to that. Cheers,~Claw

Starwhip
Every 100 rep you get a bar.(not a mod, just know this)Every 100 until 500 (at which point you'll have five green and one light green bars), then it's one light green bar every 200 points. (Full 5 green/6 light green at 1,500 points)
Mad Rocket Scientist
Does anyone experience a forum bug where, sometimes if you start typing a word that you forgot in a sentence, it doesn't push the text forward, but instead removes it, one letter at a time? Whizzkid
How much effort does it take to change a username, e.g in the name change thread and why can users only have one name change?
Endersmens
How much effort does it take to change a username, e.g in the name change thread and why can users only have one name change? Not a mod (yet) but I can answer these, as I'm the one who started the name change thread. It's not THAT hard to change it, they just have to get verification from you and remind you to log in with the new name next time you log in. We are limited to one name change so people don't constantly change names. You wouldn't be able to recognize anyone. If I was bob tomorrow, and then KSPFreak the next, and then THISISSPARTA the next day, you would have no idea who I am. We're limited to keep our sense of identity with our usernames. Supernovy
How much effort does it take to change a username?I have to open up the special admin controls, search the user database for names matching what you want to change your name to, verify that it isn't already taken, then search your current name, go into your profile, verify it's the same person, edit your name to the one you want to change to, hit save, then go out of the admin box, reply in the thread that it has been changed, then go to your forum profile and add a user note stating that you changed your name and what your name originally was.
