Please read the instructions.

- this does not apply to 64-bit players

- this is for v.1.0.4 Kerbal Space Program only

- exclude the volume of Squad folder

Here's a poll, mainly for the people who use mods. It starts logarithmically and proceeds linearly. I tried to cover the mod user classes to have roughly the same density as my hypothetical distribution is. I doubt there are many people who have enormous amount of mods.

The poll will end in ten days because I want the sample to be as less smeared over time as possible and still to have enough people voting.

I'm running about 51mb in my current save. Mostly code mods that provide information, plus things like PlanetShine. It's basically a stock install + KAS/KIS (which needed to be stock decades ago) + procedural fairings (they aren't as broken as stock ones :/ ) parts-wise.

My only other active save at this time is my BTSM one, which is approximately the same size.

I picked less than 200, but it's right at 199MB. At least for my stock-ish install. For RSS/RO? That's closer to 1.7GBs. Both of those on PC, and both run reasonably smooth. They still crash every 119 minutes, but other than that no major issues. On OS-X my GameData folder (outside of Squad) is about 200KBs, consisting of only my flags. Even at 1/4 image resolution and low graphics settings that's still unplayable, and crashes every 20 minutes or so. But I'm only putting info for my main Windows stock-ish install into your poll since they other two are edge cases.

What will you do with this information?
I will find all people from one poll class and put them in the fetus room.

Which class? That's a secret. :sticktongue:

And here I was hoping you were just going to sell it to belligerent space aliens instead....

Mine is about 490 MB, but only because I can't add any more mods due to RAM limits.

(I refuse to run under opengl and its visual degradation, and DX11 mode causes my FPS to drop to single digits while building or flying a craft with more than 5 parts.)

A 64bit client can't come soon enough... :P

292 here.

Please provide more information on the Fetus/Foetus Room. I strongly suggest it be made into a mod/part for in-game use as a single Kerbal Hitchhiker pod. IVA must be provided as well - goes without saying. This request is based on my reading of the definition from urban dictionary. Please begin visualising now...

Is KSP going completely 64 bit.(I'm hoping for this.) it would make it alot easier on steam. Wouldn't have to find that stupid command and check which version I'm running and worry sometimes if I saved it correctly when I get paranoid!

Edit: Apparently 414 925 656 B since Windows doesn't know the difference between MB and MiB.

Neither did I! Thank you for fueling my Google curiosity.

I think mine is around 100MB (or MiB, since I'm rounding anyway), but I'll have to check when I get home, so I won't respond right now.
