Who are you to decide this, I hear you asking, and here's the answer: No one. I am not official in any way, shape, or form. If you're unhappy with my decision, we can work something out. This is just my opinion, since there's no objective way to judge "Quality" of crafts.

If anyone feels that their craft is missed because of any kind of time-zone difference, or any kind of difference in when spacecraft fridays is put up, tell me.

If your craft is really good and was made before, and someone posts in it within that week, then it will be considered. Just to clarify, I am not encouraging necros for the sake of bumping your craft.

In no particular order

I haven't been able to test all the craft but I am sure most are nice working craft.  I would first like to mention that this is my first post for SCF and this week we have some newcomers to the forums and they are coming in strong. My first craft I present is the Grey Ghost Rover built by @Caligari Welcome to the forums and to Spacecraft Friday's! Your Grey Ghost Rover has caught my eye this week and it is very innovative and unique. I will be cursing in this Rover for a while. I would like to add that Caligari has other impressive craft on this link as well.

Next up is Mr. @Azimech always known for creative engineering on the forums that draw my interest everytime. Azimech has delivered to the Kerbal world it's........................

First ever piston engine with a working ignition system!

Once again another popular craft builder on the forums Mr. @Cupcake... always producing some of the coolest craft on the smallest scale possible but yet with so much functionality. Cupcake can be counted on for a great video as well. Bringing it on again to the forums with.......

Tui - Light Athmo Dropship (Pre-Release)

Another newcomer to the forums @Peril Welcome to the forums and this weeks Spacecraft Fridays. I am a sucker for futuristic looking craft and you have shown some good craft building skills here with this craft.

Halo Reach YSS-1000 Sabre

Once more another craft builder that has brought many outstanding craft builds for us to enjoy....... Mr. @zekes and this one is surely amazing, the amount of time it took to build this Superbattleship can be seen in it's beauty. I love the much used steel on the ship because it gives it a very tough look.

HMS Allegemeine - Superbattleship!

That's it for this weeks Spacecraft Friday's, they had a few other very nice craft builds out there and wish I had more time to post. Thank you for checking it out and thanks to all the craft builders that continue to give us craft to download and enjoy!

Thanks for doing this @castille7!  And well done to all chosen. One of the choices however is just a GIF.. where is the download so we can see if it works?

Thank you Major for the nice comment and I do apologize for posting a craft that does not allow us to download it and I do agree all craft that are being presented should have a craft file to share but it's not a rule for Maintainers to only present craft with craft files. I would also agree that it doesn't make any sense to post a craft on Spacecraft Fridays if the craft isn't a working craft and maybe it shouldn't have been picked, it was a quick post for me because I was pressed for time. In the future I will be sure the craft have files and are a functional craft.

@Azimech if you could please sir provide a craft file for this post when you have time or whenever one becomes available and please don't feel obligated to.

@MadRocketScientist Majorjim has a very good point here, maybe this rule should be added to the Maintainers Rules or a list of craft types that can be shared on SCF?

Thanks for including me in the list!

Unfortunately, you'll have to wait for a piston engine. I'm doing a major rewrite, I've solved an NRE and I'm figuring out a method to get the ignition working in a more reliable and faster way so rpm can go up. The engine as it existed yesterday is gone. Besides, I haven't published my mod yet.

But I want to show you guys something anyway.

First of all, thanks for posting SCF this friday!  A lot of nice craft, many of which I had missed.

Hmm, it's tricky to decide.  Let me think about that.

Good job with the selection here, very nice craft indeed! But about the thing with the missing craft file issue: I feel that maintainers should be free to post whatever craft they want, but if they do post craft with no download link, at the very least it should be the minority of the craft showcased.

Take my last week's shot at SCF, for instance. I had 1 craft, the railroad one, that didn't have a download link. Yes, the link was there originally and was deleted because of the mediafire ban, but that's besides the point. I thought it was cool and I wanted to showcase it. I was disappointed I couldn't try it out for myself, but still thought it deserved recognition. And, like I said earlier, it was the only craft without a craft file presented.

In short, I feel it's ok to post craft with no download, as long as everyone agrees that it deserves to be showcased.

Thank you for the nice comment and whatever Mr. MRS decides will be fine by me.

I think basically what Yellowburn10 says.  I don't want to exclude craft without DLs.  I don't think that I will add a new rule to the SCF rules, though.
