This is the ground textures mod for any STOCK game. It is developed to work best along side Stock Visual Enhancements.

This mod adds ground textures to ALL celestial bodies within the STOCK SOLAR SYSTEM and makes scatter objects tangible.

 

Here are some comparative screenshots of the scaled space textures in v2.0, courtesy of @RadGH

  • Update for 1.6.1
  • Fixed mountain texture issue
  • Added the workaround to fix black terrain with Sigma Dimensions

 

If you don't want rocks, trees, cactus' and other scatter objects to be solid, remove the "EnableColliders" cfg in the SVT/configs folder.

 

REQUIREMENTS:
KOPERNICUS

DOWNLOAD SVT

 

To install:

1. Install Kopernicus https://github.com/Kopernicus/Kopernicus/releases
and drop into your GameData folder.

2. Drop the SVT folder into your GameData folder.

@Berlin Notice the strange lines on Eve? that are the same i was speaking of in the sve thread regarding kerbins clouds.

That looks like a cloud layer not being seamless and it's probably less noticeable with scatterer.  Ill have to look at it when I get home on Tuesday

My view of Eve in the tracking station looks the same as Speadge's screen shot. Below is what it looks like from the map view while flying a vessel (i.e. with Scatterer active); the line is noticeable but I'm not even sure I would notice it if I wasn't looking for it... hopefully now I can "un-see" it! Looks great by the way, the best visual enhancement of Eve that I've seen yet!

I have to agree on the Eve thing, it IS the best visual spice-up of that wicked old ball of evil that I ever saw.

The seam was no big deal for me, but if you can fix it, well, even better.

I dont use scatterer and I still love this pack to pieces. Amazing job man. It makes the game so nice to behold. Thank you so very much for your time on this.

Which is it: stock (red, bold, and underlined), or does it actually require a mod? I don't think we agree on the definition of stock...

He means it is stock improvements I think, not a re-imagining.
