What funny/interesting thing happened in your life today?

Today I have read about these sweet cuties — green lacewings, or so.

Adult lacewings eat only nectar and pollen.
They are in abundance around and look so nice, so delicate.

(In my own words:)

"Lacewing's larva eats 100-300 aphids per day. If there is not enough aphids, then eats larvae of ladybugs and lacewings, too.
Once it is born, lacewing's larva starts crawling around, shaking with her head, until the jaws touch some prey.
Then she immediately injects digestive enzyme into its body, which dissolves the prey from inside in 90 seconds. Then sucks the soup out and tears the corpse apart.

To camouflage from the ants, who support and protect the aphids for bribes (btw dastardly, two-faced, corrupted sneaks — those ants), the lacewing larva cuts the fur from the aphids' backs and covers herself with the pieces of aphid fur, pieces of aphid skin, different wastes."

Last night, this morning I had my first Twitch stream host from another streamer: https://www.twitch.tv/sisterloli ^_^

I also finished paying the last of my major debts today..... but I have had my hours reduced in work recently so I don't have any more money.  On the postive side, less hours in a job which I don't like.

They also stink when you kill them.

This is going to sound a little strange...

I think there's a tortoise living under my house...

Can't resist.

Ohhh... I LOVE that song!

What we have is a hole going under the house out back. Showed up a few days ago, and while I haven't seen one yet, it looks just like a tortoise burrow. They're common around here. Ground tortoises... harmless enough, and fun to watch. I'm going to go check it later today and see if there have been any changes.

Not a fan of rubiks, but just happened on it.
13x13

Unfortunately those tend to go for about $250 on Amazon, so it hasn't really been worth buying to me...I've played with a 10x10 someone brought to a cube competition once, though. It's really no different from a 6x6, just more.

What about a Groundhog? They're common here, among many other such critters. Also fun to watch, unless its your garden they're munching on.

Hmmm.......went snow shovelling outside.

Currently -20C with light fluffy snow falling......again.

At least I don't have to deal with mosquitos, wasps, etc. :D

Cool! Snow!

I miss a good white winter. Winter in a sea-climate is bassicly fall/autumn without the red and orange leaves, winter is just lifeless, no snow, no sun, no warmth, only grey. Thats why i like winter! Absolutely nothing to worry about!

Actually it can be rather pretty, especially with blue skies and bright sun.
