Brotoro Posted May 3, 2019 Share Posted May 3, 2019 Hmmm. I wonder if customers would be unhappy if they didn't get a launch because SpaceX scrubbed because of drone ship problems. Or is it part of the contract SpaceX offers that customers realize that they might not get a launch if SpaceX decides it wouldn't get their booster back? I'm sure that's discussed at length and sealed in the contract, one way or the other. In this particular case, it wasn't just the drone ship tho... Recovery is not experimental anymore but standard. Yes old contracts might not have this option but people tend to be sensible unless launch is very time sensitive.
