DDE
Looks like Roscosmos has the same problem with spacesuit wear-out as NASA. The current Orlans are approaching their official limits, and no replacement comtract is in the pipeline. https://ria.ru/20210719/skafandr-1741800140.html Bonus: invoking the name of the Elon to complain about bureaucracy. Roscosmos will probably make the spacesuits it(Roscosmos)self, so the NPO Zvezda should cease its monopolistic ambitions and start working faster. sh1pman
Quote Moscow has agreed to allow state-of-the-art domestically made rocket engines to be sold to the US, despite Washington’s sanctions against Russian industry that are significantly hampering the ability of the country’s space agency. According to Roscosmos, the government’s support means that Russia will be able to negotiate with the US to supply RD-181M engines, in what the space agency called “mutually beneficial cooperation.” Madness. DDE
S-500 makes the first public appearance. The system is a lot less mysterious once you realize it's just a mash-up of S-400's (a.k.a. S-300PMU3's) anti-aircraft component with the big anti-missiles from S-300V, all on a new BAZ chassis. Those big missiles will ostensibly be iterated into ASAT. The whole affair is unrelated to the rumored road-mobile A-235 variant (at the very least, that thing has more wheels).

I'm also surprised Keldysh's droplet radiator project is still kicking. There were suggestions it died and that Nuklon was a thoroughly conventional Energia project. DDE
The FSB has just put up a draft list of non-classified but potentially sensitive information the gathering of which makes you a foreign agent. The list is ridiculously skewed towards not military matters but Roscosmos matters, with suspiciously specific points that include "obstacles to its reorganization and development", "information on instances of malign influence against Russian spacecraft", and "space nuclear power developments". https://regulation.gov.ru/projects#npa=118168 TL;DR they ban Anatoly Zak, make nearly any independent reporting hazardous, and probably reinforce the culture of paranoia within Roscosmos. kerbiloid
Correct me if the me is wrong, but looks like Kerbin is now under protection of the perspective Russian lasernuke Zeus. Text is in Russian, but the picture looks familiar. Spoiler (I'm not fully sure, but in the beginning this looks like Minmus, and from 02:07 like the Kerbin & Mun.) Also the text "Text" sometimes is visible in the gaps between the models. This wouldn't happen irl... Probably... Dune and Jool are under Russian protection, too. At least, I can't remember any other green gas giant around. Was waiting for comrade Kerman, but no. Neither Jebediah, nor William, nor Robert came in to come out. Btw, what's the mod? P.S.
