AmpCat
Got it. Thanks. OPT Reconfig really makes OPT worth using, though. Thanks for putting all the work into it.

Hey, I'm developing a new type of texture that does not fate the lines or details of the pieces, as was the case with DCK, it's still not finished, I still have to be able to make the new texture not break the EMM files, but that proves my point, that there are a lot of people who like the metalized texture, more than the standard white texture of the KSP, fortunately being OPT I'm getting all the help from the creator of the mod, he was informed about my project, however I still lack time and a little of help to finalize and then launch as a texture alternative, and no is not texturesunlimited. =) Soon if it is the will of more people with the help of @JadeOfMaar can leave the paper. Nicky21
What would it take to make OPT parts tweakscale compatible ? I understand that there is a conflict between B9PS adn tweakscale. Is it something easily done with a few lines of code and cutting off B9PS or does it take much more work than that? I'm willing to do the work myself, i just need some guidance. JadeOfMaar
@Nicky21 The conflict, if any, is between Wild Blue Industries' tank modules and Tweakscale. Once a WBI user scales a tank and then changes the tank contents, the amounts revert to what they would be when the part is not scaled. And I don't want to deal with the tech support flood that might happen when WBI users get tweakscale... Neither the tech support problem where the Tweakscale configs enable and disable when you add or remove WBI mods and forget that scaling needs them to be absent. Nicky21
Aha. I use a mod from allista. This allows users to use tweakscale and configure their containers to their likings. I will try to adapt opt to use this. If i have any luck with it, i'll let you know.
Dux Aquila
@JadeOfMaarHello, I know it has been explained in this thread, but I am unable to install opt-configs without the game having a fatal error and turn off. I have installed via CKAN OPT reconfig v 1.5.0 & OPT Legacy 1.3.1 and OPT Space Plane v 2.0.1 as well as Cryogenic tanks and Deep Sky Core. Attached a screenshot with the error message and the file KSP. Log, I hope that it will help to solve this issue. Thank you in advance and excuse my clumsiness in installing this mod. https://www.dropbox.com/s/0fj4r3k13cy7sow/screenshot1.png?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/pok19zgw2nnlsdl/KSP.log?dl=0 Edited June 7, 2019 by Dux Aquila add receiver
Stone Blue
@Dux Aquila Looking at your log, it seems you have very messed up install... and/or you seem to be using many, many old mods...... you also seem to have lots of errors with mods that should not have those errors... What version of KSP are you playing? I would check all your mods for updates or at least make sure the versions of mods are all compatable with the version of KSP you are running. Are you sure you are using the proper version of B9 PartSwitch and the OPT mods for the version of KSP you are running? Right off the bat, near the beginning of your log, there is an error that you have an empty configuration file. An empty .cfg file will most definately cause the issue you are describing, of crashing during or shortly after loading. It is a file in TweakScale mod. I suggest you delete that file, to start with. Its not important, and doesnt affect anything in the mod. Its this line in the log: [WRN 22:43:07.811] Cannot create config from file 'E:\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\TweakScale\Examples.cfg'. [ERR 22:43:08.657] Error: Empty part config file delete the Examples.cfg file. See if that helps. Regardless, I can almost guarantee none of the OPT mods are your problem. It is also abnormal for a log to be over 48MB... I *can* tell you that Kerbal Health is a major problem for you. it is filling your log with null References and exceptions... That is what is causing solid green in memGraph for you. Also, Klockheed Martian Smart Parts is very old and dead. i suggest removing that mod, too. Hope this info helps. Failer
I don't know if I do anything wrong, but Legacy pack doesn't work correctly for me. I play with FAR, normal OPT parts are fine, but all the Legacy parts are missing FAR settings. They get vanilla ''pitch/roll/yaw'' settings (FAR overwrites vanilla ones with FAR's ones), and in flight, (after pressing F12) they produce no lift at all. They do have working control surfaces though. I have OPT Main v2.0.1, OPT Legacy v1.3.1 and OPT Reconfig v1.5.0, KSP 1.7.0, no Breaking Grounds. Dux Aquila
@Stone Blue Thank you for your help!! My version of KSP is the 1.7.1 and the OPT mods, except the original, are for this version. The issue appears when installing OPT reconfig, if not install it I can start KSP without issues, so I'm sure there's something I don't work with OPT Reconfig and B9 Part Switch, of which I have installed the latest version through CKAN. On the other hand, I know that I have installed many mods, maybe too much and I try to have them all updated to the latest version of KSP, and those who do not work properly remove them. The mod Klockheed Martian Smart parts, which you reference is not dead and I have the latest version installed for KSP 1.7. Again thank you for your help, and I hope you can soon solve this problem. bcqJC
I updated to 1.7.2 today and have played using my save from 1.7.1. My ships that use the OPT parts are ok. Do you have all 3 OPT mods? OPT Space Plane 2.0.1 OPT Legacy 1.3.1 OPT Reconfig 1.

Are you on Steam? Steam players, especially those who play modded, are best served to keep a fresh, stock copy of KSP installed from Steam, *then*, make a copy of the whole KSP folder, and place it somewhere else on your harddrive, *seperate* from Steam... then, play/mod the cloned copy to your heart's content, and *never* touch your Steam copy till the next update, then rinse and repeat the folder cloning when KSP updates... This prevents Steam from overwriting your save/mods, and breaking your game.

Failer
You must have missed my post. There is some problem with Legacy and FAR compability. They do have working control surfaces though.I have OPT Main v2.0.1, OPT Legacy v1.3.1 and OPT Reconfig v1.5.0, KSP 1.7.
Stone Blue
Thanx for reporting that @Failer Jade would probably have to be the one to look at that... he's the Master at that stuff... I did make note of it on our to do list, tho, along with several other compatability patches I'd like to look into and add/update as needed. Right now, we're looking into possibly doing some behind the scenes reorganization and optimizing of Legacy... so depending on what Jade finds/decides, it may/may not make it into the next update, if its actually a current issue... but at least its on our radar to look into Edited June 29, 2019 by Stone Blue
Stone Blue
Also, if someone really familiar with FAR, is using OPT Legacy, and has their own working FAR patch for Legacy, we'ld most likely be happy to look at it and add it in, in the next update... (No promises tho, Jade is the head cheese that has final say on whether stuff gets added, or is ready to be added... )Anyone notice a pattern here, of how the buck seems to always get passed to Jade? JadeOfMaar
@Failer I've investigated this matter and sadly I must say that OPT Reconfig's FAR config simply does not contain entries for the legacy wings. I have no understanding of FAR that I can guess values to make a config for them.
JadeOfMaar
I'm far from putting out a significant update, still........... But I'd like to proudly announce that this Avatar cockpit is coming back! It's completely fixed. (IVA is not promised. And I haven't docked it to anything yet.) Along with it will be the direly needed drag cube fix to the Avatar hollow parts. They've been unplayable forever. The Legacy winglets are going to lose their lift surface module but gain faster elevon response. I personally have seen no fault with this decision and I do believe this fixes the aero lines acting weird for them. gilflo
Hello Is it a bug if we have the same quantity of LFO in Avatar fuel tank and in Avatar Cargo Bay: 10530 kg LF and 12870 Kg Oxidizer ? 2106L LF and 2574L Oxiidizer Wouldn't it be normal to get much more LFO in the Fuel tank than in the Cargo Bay? and it is the same quantity in the Tail class Fuel tank which is much smaller ! Hi. Thanks for spotting that. I'm aware of mistakes like that, though I'm not aware of all of them, so thanks for spotting these ones. Let me know if you find others.
