therealcrow999
@linuxgurugamerWith ZeroMiniAVC a few MiniAVCs are not getting deleted, when I set them to delete. I need more information, please. Lets start off with a complete log file, showing the ones that weren't deleted. In the ZeroMiniAVC Config.cfg, I first set Delete = true, it delete some after I left game I checked MiniAVC.log in my \Kerbal Space Program, the first log I posted above, those listed are what was left. Then when kept Delete = true and put Prune = true and started game this time it took out the rest but not all. In the second MiniAVC.log you see which ones are left on top, KIS, KAS, 000_ClickThroughBlocker, AquilaEnterprises I don't have MiniAVC.log before I ran the ZeroAVC mod. The two logs above like I said, is what was left over when I did certain steps. Showing which MiniAVC weren't removed from which mods. I didn't realize that the prune would just delete all the MiniAVC, that is why i set the Delete = true and set Prune = false. I thought the Prune would pull them out and save them somewhere for some reason, so someone could revert that later on, for some reason. Is the Prune, which is default on, is that a deeper way of digging out the MiniAVCs?
therealcrow999
This is why I set prune and delete to true: // if prune & delete are false, ZeroMiniAVC will only block MiniAVC and unpruned all MiniAVC ZeroMiniAVC { // if prune & delete are false, ZeroMiniAVC will only block MiniAVC and unpruned all MiniAVC disabled = false prune = true delete = false noMessage = false } Yeah it also is my bad for not providing a KSP log. These may or may not be logs around when I had ZeroMiniAVC installed. I believe the earliest one is. I unfortunately don't have ones earlier since I cleaned out my logs. Don't get me wrong I am not mad or being negative in anyways by any mods not working, I am doing the best to report issues and provide logs to modders. If there are issues or not, could be me, lol. It looks like you filtered the log files into individual files. Unfortunately, this is useless. In the future, to whoever you ask for help, provide the FULL output_log.txt file, see this link on how and where to get it: Read this BEFORE asking for support: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/83212-how-to-get-support-read-first/ I'll take a look at the mod when I get around to recompiling it for 1.5.1. But this is the very first time I've heard of an issue with it. When I use it (I didn't write it), I don't change any configs, and I haven't noticed any issues. But then, I wasn't looking for any issues

linuxgurugamer
Well, yes. If a mod hasn't been updated yet, you really shouldn't be reporting errors. In this case, it isn't a big issue. Either log you use, you need to provide the entire log. Posting a snippet is ok, if you think it is helpful, but you also need to provide the entire log as well, since the is info in the log which won't be in any snippit Edited October 31, 2018 by linuxgurugamer

I thought that was same as a output log, but split up into 3 files for easier reading for you guys, that is why I was trying to us it. So is it no use to you guys then? To my knowledge of using that log mod, its not a snippit, but a full log. I may be mistaken, so I should stop using it? MiniAVC log was in its full. Generated in the MiniAVC.log file. Murdabenne
Is there a reason why QuickSearch doesn't find (some?) USI entries, like Karibou? This is both with and without Filter Extensions (with default config) installed. Just seeing if this was a known issue with 1.5.

This is both with and without Filter Extensions (with default config) installed. Just seeing if this was a known issue with 1.5.1 Unfortunately, the parts of MKS (and some other mods) are not consistent in their configs. In this case, if you type 'USI' in QuickSearch, there are some parts wich will not be displayed because their part config contains the full name 'Umbra Space Industries' instead ('USI' often appears in the tags but some parts don't have any tags at all...). Depending on your search parameter, you will probably miss some parts sometimes. In this case, try to search for the author 'RoverDude' instead, it seems to be the only consistent parameter for all the USI parts. Maybe some logical operators like OR will also help, i.e. search for 'USI | Umbra Space Industries' (that's a pipe after USI, not another capital i). If the Karibou (and other parts) parts still don't appear or you already tried this before, you may want to upload a log file
Murdabenne
I put in USI | Umbra, and I got all the Otter parts, the AES, etc. But absolutely no Karibou parts at all. Karibou Expedition Rover does not show up in a search for "Karibou", for "Rover", for "USI | Umbra". The only way I found it was to use the filter sets, go to "Kerbonauts and Control" category, and the subcategory of either "Manned Command", or "3 Kerbals". And there seems to be no way to get a search that will bring me all the Karibou parts so I can simply put together a Karibou rover without digging repeatedly through the menus - Quicksearch is apparently not working in this case, and it makes me wonder a) why its not working on this, and b) what else it might be missing. I suspect there is some internal tagging or labeling missing in USI. If I can confirm it, or someone know where I should look, I'll file a bug report on GitHub in USI. By the way, with the Filter mod applied, it erases the category of "Rover" under USI and substitutes a bunch of its own, tossing all those parts into a category called "Undefined" including the Akita parts and the Construction Ports. That deleted "Rover" subcategory was unfortunately the only place I could reliably find the Karibou before all this (QuickSearch failed even without that mod installed). 4x4cheesecake
@Murdabenne I've figured out the reason for this behaviour: The Karbiou parts (and a few others) got the part category 'none'. By default, KSP doesn't display these parts in the 'normal' editor mode but the advanced one. To display the parts anyway, CCK is used to put them into the custom category 'rovers' (CCK itself looks for the tag 'cck-rovers'). Looks like the search result uses the default behaviour of KSP and doesn't display any parts within the 'none' category so you're not able to find any of the Karibou parts. I've done a test and edited the category of the 'Karibou Expedition Rover' to 'Pods' and this minor change allows me to find the part via QuickSearch using the search parameter 'Karibou'. @linuxgurugamer Any chance that you can modify the search results to display parts of the 'none' category as well? That deleted "Rover" subcategory was unfortunately the only place I could reliably find the Karibou before all this (QuickSearch failed even without that mod installed). Are you running the latest version of Filter Extensions? 4 hours ago, 4x4cheesecake said: @linuxgurugamer Any chance that you can modify the search results to display parts of the 'none' category as well? Not sure. To my knowledge, the search finds things which would be displayed in the categories

Uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times, with and without CKAN, just to be sure. The issue persists. Critter79606
@linuxgurugamer Is there any way that QuickSearch can stop using History.cfg and use an xml or some other extension for storing the search history? I'm tired of having to wait for MM to rebuild my cache every time I start KSP because QuickSearch changed this file after I searched for something. I wind up disabling history due to this. Thanks! I wasn't aware of this. I don't like the xml format for various reasons, but I'll move this into the PluginData directory, which will stop the problem. linuxgurugamer
Minor update: 3.2.2 Quicksearch Updated .version file for 1.6 Moved the History.cfg into a PluginData directory so it won't cause MM to reload every time
