Hi! show off your egg drop adventures here! i made one that used a complex arrangement of fireworks and coke bottles w/mentos as a skycrane assembly. it actualy worked! off the Sears tower. anyways, Tell on!

Today I've read about this egg-dropping theme twice in another thread. Is it some common joke (like a bulb joke) or some common fun being done irl?

P.S.
A tower made of eggs prevents the upper egg from crashing.

Enough deep soup from crashed eggs, too.

The Minmus Derp must have been inspired after I shared my experience from yesterday. Sometime I should take a picture of that stairwell to share here, it's a rather impressive one.

I never did an egg drop challenge, but Cedar Point closes their doors to the public one day a year, and invites HS physics classes to come do experiments on the rides.  That was a fun day.

Once I took a box of Straws and taped four of them to the box, put balloons on the straws, and filled the box with cotton. We put Mr. Eggington inside and dropped him. It worked too well.

In another project we had to make a rube Goldberg machine that started and ended with popping balloons. 

We failed setting it up after ten days of construction several times and the teacher laughed so hard we got an A+.

One time, I made the egg survive using ONE piece of tape, and no parachute, dropped off a 2 story building.
