one more thing to try - install Toolbar Controller and its dependencies (clickthrublocker et al)

maybe even toolbar (used to be called blizzy's)

Nothing changes even with the NSSC mod installed.

Big ask - copy the save, uninstall SC! and install full EL and try again.

Currently running KSP 1.12.  Install is new except with Realplume-Stock, both DLCs, and SimpleConstruction installed.  Mining ore and converting it into RocketParts is working great.  However, the build UI freezes and does not let me select a craft to build.  When I reopen the window, "select craft" is frozen.  Thoughts?  Can I fix this or should I use 1.11?  

Your mod is really fun though, and it makes designing a starship clone way easier than any of the other ISRU construction mods!

Also how do you post images on the forum?

probably ^^^ this. Lanchpad.dll hasn't been updated. Once it has, I will release a new version. One word - will be putting the price of metal back to CRP standards (which is higher than it is now)

Hey real quick,  how do you deploy vessels "upright?"  I have a mini docking port on the side of my Starship replica and all of the craft I build end up being finalized sideways.

Best way is to experiment in the VAB - not a great answer - but the best one I have. @taniwhaexplains it in the full manual (linked below)

the best answer I have for the micropad (not the control reference which isn't what I thought it was, and has be depreciated) - is the EL-Manual - remember - this is the FULL manual and not written for SimpleConstruction!. I have also added that to the OP.

  Reveal hidden contents

2.5.3. Micro-PadThe micro-pad is a single-use construction point. When the build is finalized, the padself-destructs and the build is attached to the parent vessel as if the build had been placed there in the editor (VAB or SPH). Also, the micro-pad can be carried on a kerbal’s back using KIS[5].

The orientation and position of the build is controlled by the combination of the orientation and position of the micro-pad, and the automatically selected attach node of the root part.

The colored diamonds on the micro-pad indicate the orientation of the root part when its bottom node is selected (red = +X, blue = +Z, cyan = -X, yellow =-Z[14].

It is important to remember that when the micro-pad is facing up, the root part’s selected node will be facing down, having been rotated around the part’s Z axis.

The micro-pad automatically selects the attach node of the root part by searching for the first available (unattached) node. First the bottom node is checked, then the top node, then any remaining nodes in the order they are found. Thus a small amount of control over which node is selected can be obtained simply by attaching parts to the undesired nodes

note :
x = left-to-right (red - cyan)
y = top-to-bottom (blue)
z = front-to-back (yellow)

ok thanks for the help, i'm thinking of uninstalling the mod and going back to extraplanetary launchpad.

The new options aren't on ore tanks... Metal refining is on ISRUs, while RocketParts are on Mobile Processing Labs. They should be on many mod-added ones too.

As I said, I don't have the metal option on the ISRU in addition to not having the option on the ore tanks. I understood that it's the lab that builds the rocket parts. Thank you for trying to help me, but as said above I am going back to EL. :)

1.11.2, As far as I'm aware the launchpad.dll hasn't been updated yet, unfortunately ;.;

EDIT: This was correct at the time of writing, But now it's been updated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Actually, on the update is a beta on GitHub, It isn't complete yet, one small problem, I can't find the launchpad.dll, maybe Taniwa replaced it, or maybe I am not good at finding files. :);)

Well this is a beta update, there are still bugs, and also simple construction hasn’t updated yet (If you are trying to do it with S.C. That is) if it is in plain EL, I recommend making a bug report. :)

Ahhhhhh, just as I was beginning to suspect (which is why I came to check this thread).

If you are using SC, I suspect you do not need all of EL, just its Launchpad.dll, which you can put in SC's directory (overwriting the Launchpad.dll there), and removing any ExtraplanetaryLaunchpads.version from SC's directory.
