Uhh, aren't those just a solder-tab CR2025? If so, replacement would be a $2 cell and 5 minutes with a soldering iron away...

* Yes, I'm using an emulator. Yes, that's bad, but I still own the game and my GameBoy Pocket. The only problem is the memory's battery is dead, so I cannot save any game.

I don't want to touch those old cartridges. I know, they were overly produced, and I could find another one for less than $10 easily. However, I already messed up in my teen years, and I wouldn't like to lose any of those.

It's a program where you can use a program from another system in the one were the emulator is.

For example an emulator can be used for playing a switch game on PC

Yes, and I actually started continuing my save after literally years of not touching the game (Pokemon Blue, that is). Surprisingly the battery is still holding up!
I'd better replace it quickly though, just to be sure. Once the battery is dead, so is my save.

I absolutely love Pokémon, and it's been a part of my gaming journey since I was a kid. There's something magical about capturing and training those adorable creatures, not to mention the thrill of battles. And Portal? Oh, the mind-bending puzzles and GLaDOS' sarcastic humor make it one of my all-time favorites.

was watching star trek lower decks the other night and i really like moopsy. my first reaction was, that's a pokemon. clearly a reference. of course the episode does bring up a good point.

i wonder why pokemon don't attack their trainers out right. the relationship between pokemon and trainer is clearly one way exploitive.  sure they get a good health care plan, but then again so does beef.  i know if i do something my cats dont like, or they are mildly annoyed, or they want to show me that they love me, i get the claws.

My take on Pokemon: a parent sends their mute psychopath child out into the world with a friend/rival to capture and force wild animals into balls and then have the animals fight other animals and get money. Fun, right?

TF2 (I don't play, but my good friend does):

Portal: fun, I like how the guy who voiced the clone troopers voiced ATLAS and P-BODY.

Here's some other good games:

Astroneer (minecraft but space without squares and it just got bought by Devolver, so it gets a larger team and now a 2024 roadmap)

Stray (if you like cats and robots, it feels kinda like portal in the terms of the absence of humans, and some monsters look like headcrabs from half-life)

Ace Combat/Project Wingman (unrealistic but pretty cool, fun to build the jets in ksp)

Cities: Skylines (fun city builder with an emphasis on roads, pretty solid game, has a kinda-sorta trashy sequel, so we can relate to them)

Star Wars: Squadrons (like ace combat but x-wings and tie fighters)

Subnautica (solid sci-fi game, kinda fun to play on a Logitech F710,)

I like Pokémon, but only up to gen 7. The new games are a perfect example of the crappy state of modern AAA gaming. Their half-baked, unoptimized, DLC ridden hellscapes with a community that refuses to grow up and see the light.

Other games I like are Astroneer (250 hours), Cities: Skylines (230 hours), KSP (god only knows), and Splatoon (500 hours between 2&3).

I've never really been that interested in Pokemon. Some of my favorites, in no particular order, include:

  • KSP1 with over 178 mods (I checked!).
  • KSP2 (stock).
  • Minecraft (Vanilla+).
  • Among Us.
  • Battlefront 2.
  • Henry Stickmin.
  • Oxygen Not Included.
