KSP 3 for the sake of KSP 3. Does KSP 3 have a reason to be considered at this time?

Yes, considering that COD 2022 is already being leaked, then always. COD 2021's stuff hasn't been announced yet and we are getting rumors of a BO2 reboot.

I beg your pardon?

We are potentially getting the second best selling Call Of Duty game in 2022 as a reboot/redone, either how they have done the new MW/BOCW Series, or as a complete redo, like COD4 MW/MW2. We don't know just yet.

So, yes, KSP 3 must be a considered option, at all times, from here on out.

What's COD got to do with anything other than salty 12 year olds?

Im just saying it always has got to be considered.

We could get KSP3 before we get KSP2. Its really unlikely, but it could happen

We don't need a KSP 3.

We would not want a legendary mainsail.

... You say that, but what if it was purple?

Then wouldn't you want to buy it?

For just a few dollars more you can get the Founder's Edition Gold Camo Reliant!

I think it's important you understand... Star Trek isn't real.

yeah but 100 years ago we thought human flight was impossible and spaceflight was a fever dream. Who knows how physics and our technology will change over the next hundred years. Plus all of our physics were made by dead people who could barely dream of what we do today.

But 118+ years ago (because clearly we knew how to fly in 1921), we could look up and see birds flying around, so we knew it was a matter of research and development of observable phenomena. We do not observe matter moving superluminally. You are, in essence, trying to get us to prove a negative.

Star Trek is fiction and has it share of handwavium, but a lot of the technology is based on real life theories. You can't dismiss all technologies on Star Trek as handwavium.

The time lines for technology is up to speculation, fusion reactors has been "within the next decade" for the past 50 years. But personal computing devices which was said to never happen, are everywhere now.

You do realize that the different series of COD are developed by different developers right?

Modern warfare is developed by Infinity ward and Ghosts is developed Treyarch for instance. They are different series made by different studios. Not to mention KSP 3 is at nearest a decade away and we have no clue what the full scope of KSP 2 is whereas CoD is the same game over and over just reskinned with a continued story.

So speculation on KSP 3 seems a bit pointless, and no, there is 0 chance KSP 3 comes out b4 KSP 2, that is blatantly rediculous.

We could not observe black holes in the early 20th century, but Einstein still predicted them - as much as he didn't believe they could exist. In essence, you're a guy in the 1920s arguing that black holes can't exist, and also arguing we don't see infinitesimally sized infinitely dense objects in nature therefore they can't exist.
