Well, since first EA release there is no option to select 16:10 resolutions like 2560 x 1600 or 1920x1200.  I have to go and edit cfg to get it. C'mon it's 1h job to fix this.

Legion 5 Pro - Mobile RTX3070 and AMD Ryzen 7 5800H

Latest Nvidia drivers.

Same on desktop with i7 4090 and 2070

Best,

I'll add to this by saying that it looks like all but a few standard resolutions are not available natively. I run a monitor at 5120x1440, but only by editing settings.json. Additionally, the artwork during load screens don't compensate for an ultrawide display; instead they're the normal 16:9 images stretched to fit a 32:9 aspect ratio. I haven't created a bug report about this because it's incredibly trivial and low-impact, but I figured I'd bring it up here.

Is it in windowed mode/full screen/borderless after you changed the settings? I was trying to help someone and I couldn't get it to work for them.
Their resolution I think is 2560x1440

If I open the graphics settings I get this: (the picture below), but it makes no sense at all. The max resolution I have is 1680x1050.?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Lett

Before your edit this is what you said:
"If I open the graphics settings I get this: (the picture below), but it makes no sense at all. The max resolution I have is 1680x1050 and the AA scaling doesn't make any difference whatsoever."

Can I remove AA scaling from the title?

I'm assuming the reason for limiting the amount of resolutions at the moment is to minimize the matrix of possibilities during bug testing. For example, is a particular bug actually an issue, or is it only an edge case when someone's playing on an unusual resolution? For example, I'm on a 32:9 at 5140x1440 (and I had to edit settings.json to get there). I have a few bugs that come up specifically because of this. One is that loading screens are stretched horizontally, since there are currently, presumably, no 32:9 versions of those loading screen images. This is a weird edge case that only affects a handful of players, so, by not giving me the option to set my resolution to 5140x1440 officially, it's one less bug they need to worry about for now.

idk if this is actually true; just a guess. just hedging in case it's intentional due to early access and not actually a bug (yet).

So, the UI used to be at least usable, and my borderless screen would at least be ultra widescreen, but since updating to 0.1.4 the resolutions list only shows 3 options. All of which are 16:9 or 4:3 resolutions and the game is not true borderless. it stretches it to maximum screen size.  And, I am definitely running an ultra-widescreen.  See the attached images.

For the files to upload, multiple categories need to be selected with the Ctrl or Shift key, otherwise only one will upload.

I'm unable to select the native resolution in the game settings. It just provides 16 by 9 resolutions. The resolutions 2560x1080, 3440x1440 and 5120x1440 are missing.

Can be worked around by manually setting the correct resolution in the settings.json file

Also i say this is a big issue, i play at 4k without getting into all the semantics of me using actually a 1440p monitor and doing DLDSR to 4k.

having the game keep on doing 4k, then constantly me changing to 1440p, and fullscreen window still causing the same effect as fullscreen "blacking out all screens for 5 seconds then allows you to use the computer again" some more attention/work needs to be done here its rather annoying, most other games when going in fullscreen window keeps the resolution and doesn't act like its in full screen mode, allowing you to tab out and still see the game..

needing to constantly do this is annoying, and then the rare times i want to play in 4k for the photos the option is missing and i have to restart the game....

Hi!

Just wanted to say thanks for the new graphics improvements, looks very nice!

Here is the feature request: please support higher resolutions, namely WQHD 3440 x 1440.

Cheers !

@Bhenoa Merged your feedback into this one. Please remember in future there is a place for feedback and a place for bug reports.

Feedback goes: https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/120-ksp2-suggestions-and-development-discussion

Also note there is a work around that might work:

  1. Don't have KSP2 running
  2. Enter the following into Windows Explorer: %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Intercept Games\Kerbal Space Program 2\Global
  3. Open Settings.json
  4. From the following picture change the highlighted line's numbers from my resolution to your resolution and then save, then start KSP2

Hi Anth!

Thanks for the help! I got the resolution wrong: I'm on 3840x1600. And it looks great, except:

* It lags a great lot at about 8000m, but I think you guys know that (asset loading maybe?)

* The navball is only partially rendered (separate bug report to come)

Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes
OS: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit | CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X | GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX | RAM64GB

Problem:

Using primary monitor with 3840x1600, there is no option in settings to select native resolution of 3840x1600 in graphics option. As a result, text and graphics looks "fuzzy" when rendering in Fullscreen  or Borderless modes using a non-native resolution.

Steps to replicate:

1. Connect with monitor with native resolution of 3840x1600 resolution
2. Attempt to change resolution to native resolution of 3840x1600

Actual result:

No option to select 3840x1600 resolution.

Expected result:

Option for 3840x1600 resolution

Hello. I was wondering if it was a bug that you cannot select an ultrawide resolution inside the game, but you can modify the files to an ultrawide resolution and the game works perfect. The UI is properly scaled and the game runs flawlessly.
