Cheese, dairy, and relocates

added prior to relocates because there was punctuation added in play prior to the preceding post and in accordance with the rules of proper English grammar required this action to bring the sentence into grammatical compliance after the prior entry took the sentence out of proper grammatical compliance with correct English grammar and English sentence structure and syntax.

Per rule 3, you may not add a comma after your word, only before it. So the comma after dairy was removed and a grammatically correct continuation was added. "and relocates" after Cheese, dairy makes no logical sentence so the "and" will be moved after relocates.

Cheese, dairy relocates and soon

Also i cite rule 2:

  1. Keep the sentence grammatically correct.

That means with the comma after word 1 a second comma was and is required.

Rules:

  1. Each post must add one word to the current sentence, including the current sentence itself.
  2. Keep the sentence grammatically correct.
  3. Add punctuation (commas, apostrophes) where appropriate. Punctuation is not added after the new word, it is added when a new word is added which makes certain punctuation before it necessary.
  4. You may only add a word before the last word in the sentence when necessary.
  5. Names are still added one word at a time. The next person can give them a title (still one word at a time) or a middle/last name if they wish.
  6. Keep it appropriate, please.
  7. No spam posting or posting two or more times in a row.
  8. Avoid themed sentences. In the past, they've led to nothing but trouble.
  9. If you end the sentence prematurely or attempt to manipulate it, you take away the fun from others. Please keep this in mind.

There were many issues with the old rules, so I reworked them. Please, PLEASE point out any errors or contradictions so I can fix them.

Here are the new rules:

  1. Each post adds one word to the current sentence, including the current sentence itself. If this is broken, refer to Rule 7.
  2. The sentence may not end up being grammatically correct. If this happens, refer to Rule 7.
  3. Punctuation does not matter. You may add it if you wish, but if you feel concern, please refer to Rule 7.
  4. Names count as a word. The next person can choose to expand the name, or not. If a name you wanted to happen didn't, refer to Rule 7.
  5. Keep it appropriate and follow the forum rules, please. In case of stress or concern, refer to Rule 7.
  6. You do not control the sentence. You may have a vision in mind for the sentence, it will not happen. If that upsets you, refer to Rule 7.
