You know, making the Kerbals feel more alive I think would be a great touch. Having family event notifications for Kerbals would be interesting. Jebodia is planting a flag on Mars and he gets an e mail that his wife is pregnant, but he has been on Mars the past year. Or getting asked about his car's extended warranty.

Hey welcome to the forums!

Sorry to disagree but Cities skylines already gives this to me and personally I couldnt care less about the interpersonal lives of kerbals. That said, if the feature magically existed in the game and I had to look to access this data instead of it popping up while I was playing I wouldn't be put off by its inclusion

That's what you like to imagine when playing the game, but different people like to come up with different stories for their saves. I think leaving this to the imagination would be best.

What we really need is an Austin-Powers-esque cutscene that plays every time a Kerbal dies, in which a space program ambassador has to explain to their spouse and children how they were killed because someone forgot a parachute again... /j

What we need is something like this, only kerbalized:

oh-my-god-they-killed-kenny-you-bastards
