thrustCurve of realfuel Can't take effect after adding this mods,Is there something wrong with this mod and realfuel?

:0.0:

as i stated before im not currently giving support to any RO mods since the RO comunity has great plume configs on its own

It is nice to have srb plumes working again, However unlike most engines with waterfall configs, this one does not  have the rocket plume expansion as you loose atmospheric pressure. The srb plume does change but it doesn't get the expansion you would expect to see, so it stands out against other mods's waterfall plumes.

^ See above the SLS SRB plumes at ASL and at Separation.

Other than this issue its great to have srb plumes working again.

it does ? can you send a picture of your plume

I am at my wits end, I have tried everything I can think of to troubleshoot. But my SRBs have no plumes at all. Currently, all I have installed is Restock 1.4.5, Waterfall 0.2.3, Waterfall Restock 0.2.3, Smokescreen 2.8.14.0, and Avalanche Plumes 1.0.1. I have tried it in both Open GL and DirectX 11. Still, my SRBs are flameless. Please HELP.

Provide a ksp.log and craft file here for @Kochi to look at. He cant do much to solve the problem without them

@Kochi just letting you know, BDB dev has an updated AJ260. Both bluedog_Saturn_AJ260_Inline and bluedog_Saturn_AJ260_Radial are soft depreciated, and the new one is just bluedog_Saturn_AJ260. It only has a single engine module instead of a separate vernier engine module, and includes thrustFXTransform (detached from gimbals as it's a fixed nozzle) and vernierFXTransform.

Bundled Smokescreen/RP compat is done by manually patching in a 2nd set of particle fx with transformName = vernierFXTransform into the main running effect, since there isn't a second engine module to have it's own running effect.

Okay, I do actually have Waterfall 0.9.0 that was a typo. I did some testing with several SRBs and still no plumes. Just a glowing nozzle bell, and a smoke trail.

Here is the ksp.log, and the three crafts I tested.

That worked. Thank you. I'm guessing install "waterfall restock" first, then "waterfall" is the correct order. Six hours of troubleshooting and didn't even think of that.

oh lmao why didnt you tell me you had that waterfall restock had SRB plumes that were only removed recently so if you had an older version and avalanche it would conflict like that

I did. In my original post, I listed Waterfall Restock right after Waterfall. Looks like it had an older version of Waterfall bundled with it that overwrote waterfall 0.9.0. But it's working great now. Thank you for the help. :D

Hey the install instructions in the readme don’t mention smokescreen as a dependency, so I missed it when setting up the ckan metadata.  Might want to fix that for manual installers. I’ll get ckan fixed.

Having an issue where sound doesn’t seem to be working for any of the affected parts. They were mostly working for RSMP. I can provide a log if needed.

Heya folks! Just wanted to ask if the configs for the Atlas V's SRBs are somewhere else? I kept getting the stock plumes when I launched them, and looked into the configs for BDB, and didn't see them listed by name anywhere. I'll update to the latest version of BDB and see if that fixes it, but I'm doubtful.

Please disregard, I'm apparently blind as a bat. Found the configs, but haven't updated BDB to see if that fixes the bug. All the other motors I've tested seem to function correctly.

Small note - apparently there's an error in one Avalanche patch, says MM:

[WRN 18:47:42.482] more than one :NEEDS tag detected, ignoring all but the first: Avalanche/Configs/Bluedog_Design_Bureau/Titan_III_Booster_Nozzle_Patch/@PART[bluedog_UA120*]:NEEDS[Bluedog_DB]:NEEDS[Waterfall,Bluedog_DB,!zRealPlume]:AFTER[Bluedog_DB]

Just saw that Avalanche was updated for the Titan patches that are still in Development for BDB.

Will this break for people who are on the released version of BDB or does this work for both the Released version and the Development version of BDB?

Also thanks!   This mod is awesome!

This might be what I am afraid of

@Kochi  There seem to be two errors in the Bluedog DB patches relating to the Titan III booster.

As already pointed out, the file "GameData\Avalanche\Configs\Bluedog_Design_Bureau\Titan_III_Booster_Nozzle_Patch.cfg" has two "NEEDS" sections in the patch header. This causes a warning from Module Manager when loading. Fix:

Change line 1 from this:

@PART[bluedog_UA120*]:NEEDS[Bluedog_DB]:NEEDS[Waterfall,Bluedog_DB,!zRealPlume]:AFTER[Bluedog_DB]

To this:

@PART[bluedog_UA120*]:NEEDS[Waterfall,Bluedog_DB,!zRealPlume]:AFTER[Bluedog_DB]

Another error that results in B9 Part Switch throwing multiple errors about missing modules is that the file "GameData\Avalanche\Configs\Bluedog_Design_Bureau\Titan_III_Booster.cfg" is missing a wildcard in the header. Fix:

Change line 1 from this:

@PART[bluedog_UA120]:NEEDS[Waterfall,Bluedog_DB,!zRealPlume]:AFTER[Bluedog_DB]

To this:

@PART[bluedog_UA120*]:NEEDS[Waterfall,Bluedog_DB,!zRealPlume]:AFTER[Bluedog_DB]

These two fixes eliminate the warnings from Module Manager and B9 Part Switch.
