Wow, I didnt know the Akmaz was launched with the VA capsule attached, I thought the VA was paired onky with the cargo block to form the TKS. Ya indeed! Originally the plan was so you could launch directly with a crew onboard and then you can receive resupply with the station only having one docking port. (Also Almaz missions were shorter duration, so you might want to not even need resupply and start the mission immediately with crew.) Almaz stations were not all armed, some were meant to be surveillance stations, but I am pretty sure at least one soviet station tested the famed 'space cannon'. I know @Beale isn't probably want to model that, but what in BdA comes close to being similar to the RL thing? And where was it placed? IMO, all these caps should be available at Engineering 101, if not at the very start. They are, after all, just end caps. Also: please consider adding RCS to Blok-D.
