What engines are they?

They're RD-0225, Almaz orbital engines.

How can I configure this mod for RSS, I tried to use the SMURFF mod but it remains the same, regardless of the scale that is out of the real.

I think it's best to ask on the SMURFF thread, I don't really know how it works sorry.

Tidying up for next release. There is a lot of config work, but the vast majority of model and texture work is now finished.

Wow, I didnt know the Akmaz was launched with the VA capsule attached, I thought the VA was paired onky with the cargo block to form the TKS.

Ya indeed!

Originally the plan was so you could launch directly with a crew onboard and then you can receive resupply with the station only having one docking port. (Also Almaz missions were shorter duration, so you might want to not even need resupply and start the mission immediately with crew.)
There's still a lot we don't know about the Almaz programme, and probably never will, so take what I say with some grains of salt :)

Very cool @Beale. Well, nobody mentioned the elephant in the station, so I will. Almaz stations were not all armed, some were meant to be surveillance stations, but I am pretty sure at least one soviet station tested the famed 'space cannon'. I know @Beale isn't probably want to model that, but what in BdA comes close to being similar to the RL thing? And where was it placed?

I asked this ones, there will be no weapons in tantares

though someone could maybe do a addon for that if beale allows that

Yes well, that is not what I said; what I am curious to know is whether some part in BdA is similar to the RL thing, and where it went.

well, you could do the NS-23, but space combat is bugged right now, the projectiles spawn like 50 meters right/left of your craft

I am starting to think that nobody really knows wheren the cannon was placed on to the almaz.

I am not obcessed with pew-pewing, it is just a historical curiosity.

Inventory system fixes for all of my mods (WIP).

I have also applied breaking force and torque fixes to the config, in theory you should be able to rigid attach everything now and not worry about ksp wonky physics.

Case in point, rigid attached N-II (no autostrut)

Some 2 cents: Rotanev structural end cap for 7K-L1 (as specified in @Friznit's wiki) becomes available much, much later than other Zond-related parts. IMO, all these caps should be available at Engineering 101, if not at the very start. They are, after all, just end caps.

Also: please consider adding RCS to Blok-D. Sure, you can add existing parts - but this looks like (and in fact is) a "kolkhoz tuning", as we like to say in Russia (means "hillbilly mod"):
