AlphaAsh
Will you add more launchpads for the KSC?Nope sorry, I won't be adding more launchpads to the KSC.Can you make an ICBM silo launch site? It would be nice for my R-36 Dnepr.Nope sorry, I don't make 'military' assets, re-purposed or otherwise. Now a launchsite inside with an opening roof is something I'd like to do but unfortunately KSP's physics handling of colliders above each other is frankly archaic, causing problems when you return to a saved vessel (they try to jump up to the highest collider and normally explode violently). So again, not likely to happen.
klesh
Buddy, I can't thank you enough for this mod. I spent all weekend making a seaplane and a boat, and then I come here and find all the maritime assets. You really pulled it all together!http://i.imgur.com/1ptmrUg.jpg

klesh
No, thank you! I just popped in the rest of the mod, looking forward to seeing some of those tracking stations and the rest of it. This is really great work. My seaplane says thanks as well!http://i.imgur.com/yJ5c6jR.jpg

Hodo
How much does this affect performance if at all?Not much, if any at all. I am running it plus a few dozen other mods and I am getting a bit of a frame rate slow down when I launch MASSIVE things over over 200parts but it isn't bad. Eskandare
RemoteTech support is covered in the OP.Actually, it is hard to add the RT2 sites with Kerbal Konstructs x,y,z coordinates. The instructions for the RT2 config was origionally for kerbal town using longitude and latitude. Now, unfortunately I haven't figured out how to make the conversion. I've found myself walking, driving, crashing Kerbals to tracking stations to pickup the coordinates even then it isn't exact because the coordinates are from the position of the Kerbal not the station itself. Eskandare
a lot of the locations clip into the ground? like Arakebo island launch point is completely under groundI must add, I've seen the same instances and I've got my settings at high. I had to adjust the structures locations. Edited November 27, 2014 by Eskandare

I'll have to double check my settings. All the positioning is wrong on mine, two buildings were partially merged. Just very odd.Additionally, for those who want Remote Tech 2 support and too lazy to crash stuff into antennae to get the coordinates, here is my RT2 base station list.GroundStations{ STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc488 Name = Mission Control Latitude = -0.131331503391266 Longitude = -74.594841003418 Height = 75 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc501 Name = Tracking Station 2 Latitude = 78.608117 Longitude = 147.491623 Height = 2817.58 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc502 Name = Tracking Station 3 Latitude = 20.45392 Longitude = -78.093832 Height = 3684.54 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc503 Name = Tracking Station 4 Latitude = 20.986161 Longitude = -117.304872 Height = 4204.48 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc504 Name = Tracking Station 5 Latitude = 14.733632 Longitude = -127.017657 Height = 2999.19 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc505 Name = Tracking Station 6 Latitude = 16.043645 Longitude = -156.864196 Height = 4704.55 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } } STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc506 Name = Tracking Station 7 Latitude = 3.329209 Longitude = -37.145679 Height = 2230.51 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } }STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc507 Name = KKVLA Latitude = 10.3559 Longitude = 227.3936 Height = 430.0 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 10.5E+07 } } }STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc508 Name = Arakebo Latitude = 8.2517 Longitude = 179.4219 Height = 430.0 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 25.5E+07 } } }STATION { Guid = 5105f5a9-d628-41c6-ad4b-21154e8fc509 Name = Kosmodrome Latitude = 0.138 Longitude = 217.1527 Height = 430.0 Body = 1 Antennas { ANTENNA { Omni = 7.5E+07 } } }} Edited November 28, 2014 by Eskandare
FantasticTuesday
I'm getting massive (40->10) fps drops from the extra buildings around the KSC. None of the other sites I've tested around Kerbin cause performance drops. Is anyone else having this problem or is this unique to me?

I'm salivating at the possibility that its a Air Traffic Control
AlphaAsh
It's a new feature in Kerbal Konstructs v0.6. It is indeed air traffic control but it's very basic at the moment, just some messages when you enter or leave the airspace of an open base. I'm hoping to extend it in future. Adding some audio, for example.

colmo
Finally had a go with this. It looks fairly good (within the severe memory constraints; my antialiasing isn't working at all atm so everything is a jagged mess).I can't tolerate graphics detail at high, though, my PC is just too old.The utility is beyond question, especially for aerial surveys. I think my KK install is older than the latest version, so I didn't benefit from recovery costs at Lushlands when I landed back there after a mission.I like the buy-in requirement to use new sites. I note there are still areas on the globe with huge gaps in coverage. That's where a carrier fleet comes in handy!

Not in the tracking station, as I haven't figured out how to temporarily switch the space centre when you do it there.KerbinSide will get a few more bases elsewhere on the globe soon
Hodo
Is it possible to set up an active texture management system for this. I absolutely love this mod but it does hit the frame rate pretty hard even with a few mods running when near the KSC or any of the kerbinside places.
