0.21: wednesday

0.22: wednesday

0.23: tuesday

0.23.5: tuesday

0.24: thursday

0.24 was unusually late in the week. So I'm betting for tomorrow, wednesday tops.

Live in Australia. Due to time zones 'Tuesdays' in the Americas are Wednesdays here. I learnt after about 3 updates... Well, I shall wait as I have done since 0.14 (or was it 0.13?)

Also, a whole year since 0.22? Wow! I still remember checking the denotes and stuff and seeing the new career mode!

This is all a bunch of bologna.

... and it's been a year?? O_O I felt like it was only 364 days since 0.22.

Srsly though it felt a lot shorter than a year

Time pass like a flash.

I still remember the 0.18 release: I downloaded it the 21 december 2012(yes, it was supposed to be the end of the world :P)

Remember that version?

First docking, space stations, unmanned probes, maneuvers nodes, electricity, actions groups, lights, functionals air intakes, automatic faring for the engines...

My favorite update.

What is this Addons&Mods all about? It was not there in .24, was it?

Don't worry, I'm pretty sure it's just a link to curse. It was there in .23 IIRC, it led you to spaceport.

Guys, it can be fun to joke or speculate about when you would like the game to come out, but please do not make unsupported announcements as if they are official. Squad has made no announcements, so no one can have firm information.

The Next Devnote Tuesday: "It's been a pretty slow day. We had a little meeting, we released 0.25, the coffee machine broke... mostly just small stuff like that."

Oh, you mean like the 0.23 release devnotes? The "Why Are You Reading This?" Edition?:

It's hard for me to believe .22 was that long ago. Strictly speaking I wasn't here for it, I first started playing during the last week or two before .23, but still.

And I remember seeing the occasional blurb about KSP before that, must have been in the pre-.18 days, and I remember thinking "that game has a lot of potential but it just looks so unfinished and bare, I don't want to play it and get my hopes up, and then they stop developing two weeks later". Clearly I was wrong about one part of that, and I'm happy to have been wrong. Heck as far as the game had come in those versions, I wouldn't have even been mad if they did stop development at .23. Disappointed maybe, but not mad or cheated.

Just thought I'd be vaguely nostalgic for a minute, don't mind me.

So, uh, yeah. I'm kind of expecting a Tuesday or Wednesday release as well but I'm not planning my life around it just yet. I just really hope you guys (we, I guess) don't murder the server this time and I can actually download it :P

No official announcements, but the fact that this thread has been allowed to exist does imply many things. Why announce something officially, and risk ire if the date is missed, when there are threads like this to drive the hype machine. Or allow the hype to build unofficially, then be a hero by releasing it earlier than the "unofficial" announcements. That scenario would tie into Mr. Manley's recent statements.

It's like the radio stations that say they take "requests" when they in fact are selective of those requests, playing whatever they planned to play under a guise of by-request.
