  1. Shiny. And pretty good looking. Also - Really hand painted? That's really good. Can't tell the exact accuracy of the paint job (like if its spot on or not) but it looks really good - even replicating the clouds instead of just bands of color.
  2. My solution so far is craptons of SAS wheel Oh, and jets for propulsion. So its more like a landspeeder thing from Star Wars I guess. Though I guess it really behaves like a hovercraft. It will glide across the ground and not stop. Edit: Went ahead anyways and finished! The time between checkpoints was maybe around 3 minutes, but more official scoring is to come. (and yes, I turned off jets during jumps... the big ones anyways.)
  3. Hmm wondering if the KF antigrav pads count as flying.... @DarkOwl57?
  4. Wait whats the joke? Also, these are pretty good picks. More wouldn't go unappreciated though. (I'm guessing that means we should suggest things? I don't know....)
  5. Ok here you go - https://kerbalx.com/qzgy/HLV-Alt-Test Has the same number of parts as your shuttle. You can reduce the part count by removing the back extra vertical stabilizer. Also, it will be generally kinda sluggish or stable. That's either good or bad depending on use case.
  6. Do you need it to be super detailed? Or only vaguely 747 ish? But I can probably make something if you need.
  7. At Kerbin or Duna? My suggestion would be aerobraking. Or parachutes.
  8. I have one open in front of me. Not using it though. TUBM has seen a live rocket launch before the age of the interwebs.
  9. Thank you very much for this. Also, I don't think its your fault (that the language is hard to understand at first glance). You yourself while writing this spend probably hours reading and or writing it, so the language system makes sense to you. I think the main problem on my end is a lack of remembering how the vowels sound (again, not complicated, just something I'm not used to) . But thank you very much for the improvements to the accessibility of Laythean.
  10. There's this craft I made which technically has a fuselage/wing that's pretty much the same thing based off of a NASA lifting body project. Others have made that exact craft shown. So it is possible to make something like it with a similar shape. https://kerbalx.com/qzgy/Martin-Marietta-X-24B
  11. I like the story a lot but.... while the idea of Laytheans speaking laythese is really cool, it is personally for me a bit hard to read. So I miss about half the story. Its not a bad system, just not one I'm used to and not one I'm particularly a fan of.
  12. Oh hi again! @CatastrophicFailure
  13. Yes. TUBM has a landline phone in their house.
  14. Banned for mentioning a year.
  15. You thought I was @CatastrophicFailure, but in fact, I am qzgy. You have been bamboozled! @Dman979
  16. Apparently its 19 F here. With wind chill of 8F. The garage is quite cold.
  17. Heard about that. Trying to find the original (call it morbid curiosity I guess). But its probably something forgotten in oh about 10 days. I don't know. Hopefully it would be an "Awesome Spaceflight year with the world that isn't too sucky" As for complaints - I'm liking winter break. I don't want to go back.
  18. Laptop is more practical. Saturn V is nicer to play with, unless your laptop is a super nice 1080 ti graphics card and a i7-7500
  19. Don't load a terribly laggy craft and leave for a while. Your lander will not exist by the time you get back.
  20. Hmmm With those low passes..... dundundundudndundundDUNDUNDUDNUNDDUUUUU DUNNNNd boom.
  21. Hmm by someone with a similar name... >.> suspicion increases.....
  22. I resolve to get off of Eve.
