  1. I'm aware it probably breaks the rules. However, if it does, it will be disqualified. But the question is does the repulsor count as lift cause it still needs the ground to work. I would prefer to defer that question to the maintainer/high judge of the challenge, which I did ask yesterday or so. If it is deemed illegal by him, it will be fine to disqualify it. As a note, I did also turn off the engines when not directly "in contact" with the ground from repulsors.
  2. Results uploaded to appropriate thread. Time 22:03. This was so fun in this craft!
  3. 1st Entry? Apparently As a note - Parking at the end of stages was sloppy. I have no proper wheels or fine propulsion. Getting to a stage was + or - 100m. Mostly offset it self I think. Also, jet engines were switched off during jumps. Not all the little ones I couldn't see, but I didn't exploit its high TWR. DAKAR LS4.3 Imgur link to results. https://imgur.com/a/pFLzV (I could put it in a spoiler.... but like its nicely compiled there....) Total Time - 22 min 3 seconds. Blitzing fast apparently. Mods used - DCK, AP+, Tweakscale, and Kerbal Foundries. KER, Void, and Tac Fuel Balancer were also used to help during piloting (plus maybe some other visual/informational mods, but no MJ). EditorExtensionsRedux was also used to help design it. Propulsion consists of 16 DCK Kitty Engines (or whatever the small panthers from DCK are) and 3 Wheesleys. Attitude was maintained by 48 1.25m SAS wheels. Forgot to mention, this was done with high terrain detail.
  4. Can confirm this works for KSP as well (just tried it.) Does displace graphical elements on the main screen but that shouldn't be a problem....
  5. To add to Just Jim's list of exceptions, some people also link craft file repositories or kerbalx sites for craft they made
  6. I don't know of any tutorials per say, but with OBS at least its pretty simple - set it to capture only KSP.exe windows and the desktop sound and then record stuff (and edit....). Its my personal choice cause it works pretty much. And is quite customizable. And to that unbinding a key (specifically F11) there probably is a way in both settings and the settings config file. Don;t qoute me though, probably need to poke a round to make sure. Also... I'm relatively new so I am unaware of any fullscreen easy toggle feature that may have existed...
  7. Yup, you are correct with scoring assumption for me. Did make both munar and kerbin orbit. Definiteyl gonna have to do this again. Don;t know if more ambitious or less.... I'm thinking around the same level - Grand Tour 1 life...
  8. Shiny. And pretty good looking. Also - Really hand painted? That's really good. Can't tell the exact accuracy of the paint job (like if its spot on or not) but it looks really good - even replicating the clouds instead of just bands of color.
  9. My solution so far is craptons of SAS wheel Oh, and jets for propulsion. So its more like a landspeeder thing from Star Wars I guess. Though I guess it really behaves like a hovercraft. It will glide across the ground and not stop. Edit: Went ahead anyways and finished! The time between checkpoints was maybe around 3 minutes, but more official scoring is to come. (and yes, I turned off jets during jumps... the big ones anyways.)
  10. Hmm wondering if the KF antigrav pads count as flying.... @DarkOwl57?
  11. Wait whats the joke? Also, these are pretty good picks. More wouldn't go unappreciated though. (I'm guessing that means we should suggest things? I don't know....)
  12. Ok here you go - https://kerbalx.com/qzgy/HLV-Alt-Test Has the same number of parts as your shuttle. You can reduce the part count by removing the back extra vertical stabilizer. Also, it will be generally kinda sluggish or stable. That's either good or bad depending on use case.
  13. Do you need it to be super detailed? Or only vaguely 747 ish? But I can probably make something if you need.
  14. At Kerbin or Duna? My suggestion would be aerobraking. Or parachutes.
  15. I have one open in front of me. Not using it though. TUBM has seen a live rocket launch before the age of the interwebs.
  16. Thank you very much for this. Also, I don't think its your fault (that the language is hard to understand at first glance). You yourself while writing this spend probably hours reading and or writing it, so the language system makes sense to you. I think the main problem on my end is a lack of remembering how the vowels sound (again, not complicated, just something I'm not used to) . But thank you very much for the improvements to the accessibility of Laythean.
  17. There's this craft I made which technically has a fuselage/wing that's pretty much the same thing based off of a NASA lifting body project. Others have made that exact craft shown. So it is possible to make something like it with a similar shape. https://kerbalx.com/qzgy/Martin-Marietta-X-24B
  18. I like the story a lot but.... while the idea of Laytheans speaking laythese is really cool, it is personally for me a bit hard to read. So I miss about half the story. Its not a bad system, just not one I'm used to and not one I'm particularly a fan of.
  19. Oh hi again! @CatastrophicFailure
  20. Yes. TUBM has a landline phone in their house.
  21. Banned for mentioning a year.
