  1. Thank you for your concern. Users can go to https://www.kerbalspaceprogram.com/ and click on the Account button in the upper right hand corner as they usually have done, or log in through the official Private Division Store as well. All methods will lead to the account portal which is a subdomain of the official Private Division site. (Private Division is the publisher of Kerbal Space Program) The urls I have listed in this thread are our official urls.
  2. Thank you to all that have applied. Applications are no longer being accepted for this role, so we're locking the post.
  3. Hello all. As you know, unfortunately KerbalEdu is not accessible at the moment due to TeacherGaming fully ending their services. We are currently working with TeacherGaming to transition KerbalEdu to Private Division. Once this handover is complete, current educators will have continued access to KerbalEdu at no additional cost. If you would prefer to keep using KerbalEdu, TeacherGaming will reach out with more information on how to gain access to KerbalEdu as soon as it is available. (You should expect to see an email with more information within the next month)
  4. Hello @Spaceman.Spiff! I set up a separate Kerbal Account discussion thread over here: so I'll be locking this thread. Please feel free to bring up this subject there though!
  5. Hello Kerbonauts, We are pleased to announce that on Tuesday, August 31st we will be launching the brand-new Private Division Account system, which will replace the current Kerbal Account you use to purchase, download, or re-download versions of Kerbal Space Program from the KSP webstore. Please be aware the current Kerbal Space Program webstore and account will be taken offline at 10.00 AM PST / 1.00 PM EST on Tuesday, August 31st while the new platform is put online to replace it. The new Private Division Account will be used for all things Private Division related, such as direct store purchases, access to multiplayer games, managing account preferences, and more. When the Private Division Account goes live, if you have an existing Kerbal Account you will receive an email outlining the steps you need to take to complete the upgrade. Anyone who has a Kerbal Account will need to upgrade their existing account to a Private Division Account to access download links for previous KSP-related purchases, as the old account pages will be unavailable. What does this mean for me? If you have a Kerbal Account, you will need to upgrade it to a Private Division Account to access previous purchases of Kerbal Space Program. You will receive an email reminder from Private Division, or you can directly visit the Private Division Account page and use your existing Kerbal Account credentials when it is live, and follow the steps outlined. For anyone without an existing Kerbal Account, this change does not affect you, however, you can still signup for the new Private Division account for all the benefits of easily managing your Private Division titles and more. Why is the Kerbal Account being replaced? The release of a Private Division Account brings with it new standards for account creation and security (such as code verification) which weren’t part of the Kerbal Account. We also want a wider inclusion of Private Division initiatives to live in a central location, meaning one account for everything. In addition - one of the reasons this is happening now - is the Kerbal Account uses a direct purchase store provider which is being replaced. What new information will be requested to upgrade to a Private Division Account? To complete the upgrade process from a Kerbal Account to a Private Division Account we will ask for your Country, Date of Birth, and a Display Name. Your Country and Date of Birth is required for account eligibility purposes. We will also require you to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which have been used when making a Kerbal Account. These can already be found here: https://www.take2games.com/legal/ and here: https://www.take2games.com/privacy/ What will happen to my Kerbal Account? If you have a Kerbal Account, we advise you to upgrade your account to a Private Division Account. All previous Kerbal Accounts will be rolled into a new Private Division Account on Tuesday, August 31st, and it’ll be the only place for you to access the KSP client direct downloads. What will happen to my forum account? Your forum account will remain a separate login from your Private Division Account. We are exploring opportunities to allow you to login to the forum and other places using your Private Division Account credentials in the near future. If anything changes regarding your existing forum login credentials, we will let you know in advance. How can I re-download Kerbal Space Program from my account? If you have purchased Kerbal Space Program or it’s expansions from the KSP webstore, you will need to upgrade your account to a Private Division Account in order to access those purchases. To upgrade your account, all you will need to do is enter your Kerbal Account credentials and follow the steps to complete the account creation once the page is live. ------ UPDATE: The new Private Division Account is now live: https://account.privatedivision.com - here you can use your previous Kerbal Account email address and follow the steps to upgrade. You will be able to download KSP from the “Game Download” section of your profile. If you didn’t have a Kerbal Account you can register for a new Private Division Account at the same link.

  7. You can share, but please make sure to state that Intercept Games is the owner, and link to this post as the source.
  8. Howdy, I usually do the posts at 9am PT and It's 9am PT now. Also, despite this going up via the Intercept Games account, this is still officially today's Show and Tell post. I won't be sharing anything further from my account.
  9. This week we added rocks to our terrains. We're living out our Apollo 11 fantasies as we spend precious delta-v flying sideways to avoid boulder fields! Seen here, a few shots of Gilly, Mun, and Pol.
  10. The video has been tested and is working properly. The issue you're encountering may require some troubleshooting on your end. (If you're viewing on mobile, try viewing on desktop. If using Chrome, try Firefox, or try clearing your cache, etc.) They screenshots are from in-game. The video is a test scene. All in-game screenshots are from the work in progress game, so any images/video associated with Show and Tell, Dev Diaries, etc. are WIP status. There is no "Show and Tell" post today. Today's KSP2 related post is the Dev Diary.
  11. KSP is special—and challenging from an engineering perspective. Learn about the work that KSP2 Physics Engineer Michael Dodd has been putting into improving static and dynamic object collisions in KSP2 Dev Diary #10 "Collisions". Check out the post below ↓
  12. There isn't supposed to be any audio, but the video should still work. I'll look into this.
  13. If you're not able to view the video in the post here, please try viewing the post directly on the KSP website and see if you're able to view it there. Link: https://www.kerbalspaceprogram.com/dev-diaries/developer-insights-10-collisions/
  14. Just wanted to give a quick reminder to those interested in this or any other Intercept Games positions to apply via the links provided on https://www.interceptgames.com/#jobs. You can feel free to discuss any experience you have here, or recommend this position to others to check out, however those interested will still need to fill out an application to be considered. Best of luck to those who have already applied!
  15. Thank you to everyone that participated in the survey. The survey will be closing soon, so I'm going to lock this thread. If you'd like to participate but haven't had a chance to fill it out yet, please make sure to head to https://bit.ly/kspsurvey1f today. Thank you again!
  16. To touch on this topic again, the purpose for the question "Do you have any children under the age of 18?" is to follow up with the question "Do you play Kerbal Space Program with them?" if the answer was "Yes". It's to inquire if there are parents out there playing KSP with their kids, and it helps the company to better understand the demographic of the people that are playing KSP and/or those who could be potentially playing KSP2. I'm guessing that any pets you may have aren't/won't be playing KSP, so listing dogs and cats for this question was not needed. (Although if you do have a pet that plays KSP I'm sure the team would love to hear about that! ) Not all countries were listed. If your country was not listed, please select other.
  17. We ask about whether those taking the survey have children under the age of 18 only to then ask a follow up question of those who do "Do you play Kerbal Space Program with your children?". This is so that we do not subjugate everyone to answer a question that is unrelated or that they can't answer. Rather than have every possible option in one question, some questions throughout the survey act as a means to send respondents on a different route that is applicable to the response they've given. Hope this helps to provide some insight!
  18. Gurdamma is a young terrestrial planet that's still experiencing heavy asteroid bombardment, much like Kerbin did billions of years ago. Still to come: a thick atmosphere and a very close (i.e. within the rings) moon!
  19. Hello @Klapaucius. I'll DM you about this. For any other educators with a pre-existing KerbalEdu account that find themselves in a similar situation, please reach out to our customer support team, or DM me directly. Thank you!
  20. That is correct, that is the typical method we use for our planned posts. Since this is on our radar we will look into it. Thank you for letting us know.
  21. Whether you're a Kerbonaut who's only been playing for a few weeks or for an entire decade, we want to hear from you! Please complete this short KSP survey. ► https://bit.ly/kspsurvey1f
