Recommended Posts

- you eat lunch and read a newspaper while the game is loading.

- the switch from space center to VAB takes as much time as the loading of the stock game.

- Task Manager is your new best friend.

- you reinstall the game several times a week.

- you want to have a quantum computer for gaming.

- you are constantly afraid to break the game or even get a bluescreen.

- you have 5 versions of ModuleManager in your GameData folder.

- the CPU screams convulsively like a torture victim every time you mention the game.

- you have finally chosen to use CKAN for installing mods.

 

88 mods on my RO+RSS install.

The newest version of KSP drops and you see the AVC screen notifying you of out of date mods has become so long you cannot even see the "CLOSE' button... :D

-When you make a lot of craft, but every time you want to load one of them, you instead go to gamedata folder, delete some mods, then install required mods before opening the game again. Repeat the procedure every time you load a saved craft

-When you have 2 KSP folder, one FOR SCIENCE, one for BLOWING THINGS UP

OT: don't laught, but I'm working on a permanent fix for this, so all statics wount fload anymore. I think you replaced the Kerbin with a different planet pack. and this altered the terrainheight. currently all statics are originating from the sea level and not the surfance. To fix this. move a vessel near: press ctrl+k aim the mouse to the object and press the "tab" key. move to the ground, press save and repeat. 

 

OK back to the Topic:

If you seriosly think in buying a new SSD, because the old one has only a SATA interface and loading the game takes to long.

I have GPP installed, which is probably why. But it used to work and then I played RSS for a while and came back to this.

Probably due to some mods being updated and others not.

When 1.3 comes out and you cant remember how to get into orbit without a mod installed :blush:.... promptly reverted back to 1.2.2 and had fun relearning the basics while also playing with mods (I am now proud to say that I don't need mods to get to anything that is minimus or closer. Cant get past minimus using mods or stock do to my lack of knowledge).

Yeah, when my KSP was updated to 1.3 and I had to remove all mods only to find out that I don't know how to play a stock game and that stock game kind of sucks without mods.

When you have no hope of EVER exploring all the planets from all the planet packs and extra solar systems you have installed... even with Alcubierre Warp Drive!

AND you give your wife your Core I7 6700 and 16gb of ram to upgrade to a 7700k ( overclocked to insanity with water cooling and delidding) and 32gb of faster ram :P
