Assembly-CSharp.dll is a system file that links other KSP users computers together and uses this computing power to build Skynet AI system which will eventually take over the world with robotic power

Guess it's time to pick a side. I'm gonna ride with the robots. Maybe they'll hook me up with a 1080. :)

Well now that's interesting. Windows Defender (Win 10) just quarantined Monthly Budgets when I started KSP. Any other mod, I would have maybe given it a seconds thought (although not much more than that)... but not that one.

My theories (in decreasing order of likeliness)

1) KSP is triggering some faulty heuristics behaviour in Windows Defender,  and MB just got the blame because thats what it was loading at the time.

2) Defender has gone rogue, and is randomly flagging unsigned DLLs.

3) I'm actually writing spyware and infecting myself with it.

On second thoughts, it's definitely number three.

Looks like this is simply a false positive on the part of the virus detector.  Detailed answer here from @Squelch:

Executive summary, as I understand it:

  • No, there's no virus in KSP, this is a false alarm.
  • The problem is with the antivirus software, not with KSP, so there's nothing Squad can do about it.  It's the antivirus software that needs fixing in this case.
